Eight visits, would give this place six stars. Food is perfect, staff friendly, can’t beat the price.

The worker there are so friendly & accomodating. I was so happy they now have Sunday hours cause who wants to cook during Football season. I love their food.

I was complaining to a coworker that there isn’t any good pizza in Hauppauge other than Ciro’s, which is too oily for me(but tastes great). She then recommended Albert’s to me and I am SO glad she did! Albert’s doesn’t just make good pizza — they have become my favorite pizza place! I eat pizza at least three times a week and have been to a lot of places in search of the best. Their regular, upside down slice, and Hawaiian slice, are all the best pizza I’ve ever had. I have to admit, though, that I’m not the biggest fan of their buffalo chicken(which I usually get at pizza places), but I can’t even reduce the stars I give them due to the rest being so good. The guys that work there are really friendly, too. I can’t recommend this place enough!

The regular slices were pretty good, the garlic knots are awesome. Went here at 7pm on a Friday and it was pretty empty. Maybe it was because I went in after the dinner rush but there wasn’t a huge selection of slices or other items to choose from. The inside is nice and has the ability to seat a decent amount of people but it looks a little unfinished. The have a nice sized tv on the wall but it doesn’t face any of the tables. The pizza was good enough for me to return again in the future.

Went here for a quick bite to eat. The décor is not great. The place was empty at 2PM. The regular slices were just ok, cheese kept coming off. The chicken parmigian slice was good. Plenty of slices to pick from. If they fixed the place up then they would probably get more customers.

The inside looks like what my old bedroom would look like as a kitchen. I’ve only ordered for takeout though. I guess the messiness has some kind of charm. One of the guy’s who works here has complimented my band shirts/sweatshirts on three separate occasions. I can always appreciate a worker with good taste in music. There’s a $ 5 minimum for credit purchases. As for the pizza, regular slice is not good at all. Neither is the sicilian. The sauce on top slice is okay and the grandma slice is good. I like their eggplant parmigiana hero. The eggplant is crispier than most places, but no complaints there. I’m having a hard time finding good takeout in Hauppauge in general. What do people eat out here?

By far the worst pizza I ever tried. I say that cause I threw my food in the trash. Restaurant is dirty and the pizza looks as though its been sitting out for days. No good never again

Decent pizza. At least you don’t have to wait in line forever like Leonardo’s down the street.

I have been going to this Albert’s for over 15 years. It changed hands about 3 years ago, But the pizza did not change at all. They passed on there secret sauce recipeI guess. I always have the square pizza with sauce on the top when i go there. Today i had the pepperoni pizza. Was as good as i remember it was. The sauce just has a amazing taste to it. Owner is a worker and is very nice and friendly. When ever i am in the area i will stop by for sure again.

I am so sorry to say that although the pizza is awesome, I will not be going back. I have been loyal for 10 years but I am so tired of waiting an extra 15 minutes for my pizza after tell me «20 minutes». When I arrived today at the 20 minute mark, my pie was just going in the oven. This is the last time, good bye Alberts.

A sucker for their Sicilian pie with the sauce on top. Like their calzone too.

I ordered a dinner and they made a mistake. The owner was really nice and gave me a credit though. I tried their pizza. It was ok. It seems more american style rather than Italian(fairly thick crust, little greasy, cheese isn’t exotic/average sauce). The staff is really nice though. Good for the locals/businesses, I guess.(The fake reviews from rich and Dan aren’t cool though. Don’t abuse Unilocal.)

I come in here a lot throughout the years when it had the older, old and new owners. Yes, it has a lot of turnover, but they never close it down because it has some great pizza and some great deals for large families like mine. I am so glad they recently got the new owners, because the old ones rarely spoke english and the new owners are super friendly. Their chicken wings are amazing, they are very crispy and the pepperoni rolls are also really good. Now the pizza isn’t like an ordinary NY pizza, its pretty thick, but i assure you, its so good. That is the round pie, do not get the square pie where the cheese is on the bottom and the sauce is on top. Who thought of this??? It’s just plain wrong. When you do this, you don’t get the cheesiness taste like a regular pie has, because when you cook it the cheese gets embedded into the crust and you rarely able to taste it. The sauce on top makes eating it very messy as well. Other people i know prefer it, so i guess its just my opinion. i suggest buying the round pie and going on weeknights, where its usually dead since its in an industrial park.

Given that it’s within reasonable walking distance* of my office, folks are constantly bringing in a pie or two from Albert’s** to serve as what I deem«edible sustenance for extemporaneous meetings». Unfortunately, in my B&M visit to the joint, I can’t say the slices here really exceed that characterization. We called in an order for a regular pie and arrived to find a flustered staff, perhaps due to a changing of the guard related to the«New Look, New Owner»?*** Perhaps trying to boost business after the new folks at the helm, their e-mail list signup sheet is featured equally prominently and awkwardly on the glass display as you go to pay. Judging by the omnipresent signs re: their website and expansion, they’ve recently become an Island pizza conglomerate of sorts**** with a considerable e-presence. To complement the already-frustrating ambiance, out-of-place Jamaican music blasted as we walked in, and we all took a few seconds to observe the interesting layout of the place and the tacky restaurant supply/Marshall’s-store-bought pizza cliché signs littering the walls. Alright, the food, finally. Well, not yet, as they couldn’t locate the pie we’d called in, and then it emerged at that temperature where the cheese slides down from the rest of the slice like a kayak off a just-dried-up waterfall. Once it settled, it transformed into your typical greasy and overly cheesy slice without much in terms of seasoning, aside from the tabletop DIY bottles. *About 2 blocks on LI, if that **The ubiquitous Albert’s /Alberts’ discrepancies bothered me, a lot. ***Famous last words? ****Unsure if this is the 7th Roman iteration of the joint.

This place has terrible customer service. DONOTACCEPTORPAYFORYOURDELIVERYUNLESSYOUCHECKTHEORDER. TWICE they ripped me off of part of my order. I called back BOTH times. The first time I was told they didn’t charge me for the side order of meatballs. After checking the price on the menu against the money I paid to the Delivery person for the order… I figured well maybe it was an old menu and ummmmm maybe the prices could have gone up uhhhhh $ 5.00 so mayyybe they didn’t charge me for the side order of meatballs… NOT… even though I thought they had… HUBBY said not to make a big deal about it… this time we ordered again… I mentioned the last time with the NO meatballs… and told them to make sure the order is complete… Hubby checked the order… as far as he was concerned it was Good… he got his meatballs this time… BUT we were missing the slice of pizza… 30.00 food ordered and they forgot something again… this time I called spoke to the person who took the order, he was alllll apologetic and said he would send the guy back with a few pieces of pizza… HELIED… it never came and he disappointed my granddaughter in the process… AND I AGREEEE their pizza SUX compared to TONY’s Pizza in BRENTWOOD on Clark Street. SO the only Plus that Alberts had over TONY’s is that they Delivered… but with Delivery that rips you off… who needs it… on to the next search engine to put the word out to BEWARE… have a nice night Alberts.

Alberts seems like it changed hands a year or two ago, but the pizza remains good. Never got a take-out pie here, but to stay, the Neapolitan slices are extra-cheesy, while square ones are to showcase the sauce and have very little cheese. Albert’s has a lot of trashy magazines and newspapers to read while you eat or watch tv. In addition to the usual stuff to dust up your slice, the have«mo hotta mo betta» ground habanero dust and have carried it for years. Where else in this area can you walk-in and get a Hawaiian slice.. .pineapple and Canadian bacon.. .
