First time to one of these places (never really wanted to try it). I now call it Awful House.

This is actually a review for the Waffle House in Pearl River Louisiana, of I59. On a road trip back to Tennesse and stopped at this Waffle House. Best one we have ever been to. Big, clean, professional and the food was awesome. Wait staff was very friendly and efficient.
If you are traveling, stop at this Waffle House at the Pearl River exit of of I59 north in louisiana.

The best waffle house experience I’ve had in a very long time. Our server was Teresa and she took care of two tables of intoxicated people with a smile. The food was fresh, hot and the service was friendly can’t beat it for 3 o’clock in the morning.

OK it’s Waffle House and I love the food on road trips. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Not much more you can say about it.

The food would have received 3 stars. BUT the waiter’s bloody bandaged finger, smudging the napkins and flatware as he was setting it in front of us diminished the rating. Hmmmm. He said ’ I can’t stop the bleeding’ but felt it was ok to touch the flatware and set our table? Really? The waitress was very friendly and the food typical Waffle House fare. But I won’t be back.
