We’ve had the chance to visit a few times and we really like this place. It’s nothing fancy, not that any pizza join is, but they have some very interesting and creative pizza creations on the menu. Also, I had a sandwich here that is basically like an Italian hoagie, but on more of a square ciabatta-type roll or piece of bread. It was also very good.

Worst Pizza. I called to add arugula and they didn’t even know what it was. Very poor presentation. Sam’s Club makes better pizza. Crust was undercooked. I wasted $ 18. Not recommended for folks with good taste buds and who travel around the world

Yesssss! I have been searching for a «real deal» Italian spot since I moved here last year. By George, I think I found it! The waitstaff were awesome — friendly, patient, helpful, smiling. The seating was comfortable. I loved eating on the front patio. The breeze was delightful, and the view of downtown is great. The fried mozzerella appetizer — O.M.G! Real, thick slices of decadent mozzerella were lightly breaded and fried. Not oily — yay! The marinara sauce that came with it was equally delicious. The house salad — yum! Leafy green lettuce, radicchio, cheese, tomato, croutons, and a tangy Ranch dressing. Chilled perfectly. The pizza — what!!!(In a good way!) My 10 year old had cheese with black olives, and I had cheese with pancetta and sun dried tomatoes. The crust was perfectly cooked, the toppings were fresh and ample, and that cheese is to die for. The gelato — fantastic! Daughter had raspberry with a cookie, while I had mango. Luscious, creamy but light at the same time, and subtly flavored. Nom noms! All this for $ 30. Bianchi’s — I look forward to our next date! :)

The pizza is pretty great. Definitely not standard south Mississippi fare. Somewhat pricey but what do you expect? If you are in downtown Hattiesburg I highly recommend. Pictured the Morelli and spinach & artichoke

Despite the reviews of my fellow extinguished helpers we decided to check this place out. Cool atmosphere and outside seating available. I ordered the Ciraci pizza and my son got cheese. They were both delicious and honestly all of the gourmet pizzas looked amazing. Service was great. After dinner we ordered gelato. My son got resees and I got espresso and crème brûlée. They were amazing. Next time we will try the seasonal fruit flavors. No of our pizza were cold, my salad was great and the gelato was good. I was expecting it to be awful because of the reviews but it just wasn’t for us. We will definitely be back!

I wanted to give it 1 star, but the poor waitress who had to serve it was so apologetic and nice… I’ve lived all over the country and am definitely a pizza snob, so there’s that. Not a hard ass, I just know what I expect to come out of the oven. Whenever I try a new slice I always get a Margherita slice. Basically it’s just crust, sauce and sometimes cheese. If a shop can’t do that, then there’s no reason to go any further. On our first visit at 7PM on a Saturday night, the pizza arrived to the table burned. The waitress apologized and said they had just turned on the ovens. Sure. Happens. Everybody has a bad day. Obviously, all the flavor was cooked out, but that’s what they served, so that’s what I’m reviewing. Flavorless dry sauce, burned cheese. We tore open the crust and the surrounding air pockets — rise points– were even indicating a frozen dough — not properly benched. The char on the bottom was about 82% coverage, top was close to 15%. Dropping the crust onto the plate sounded like plastic dice hitting ceramic plate from across the room. We ordered another slice. The waitress apologized again. She seemed embarrassed, but was very nice. The second round came to the table blonde. Maybe 2%bottom char with a waxy cool sauce. Undercooked this time. Crust texture — uncooked center. I feel comfortable after this experience saying that they actually have no idea how to cook a pizza. Even more concerning are the pix they post of their pizzas. Visibly unevenly cooked with visible blisters showing that they aren’t sure how to control the ovens. These are their own pix, not mine.

The food was good and so was the service. The staff was very friendly but seemed over-busy? The pizza was traditional brick-oven and tasted as expected. They honored the free desert when checked in on Unilocal.Location was nice, historic downtown. Place was clean.

We ordered the Gallucci pizza. Due to the pizza shrinking during cooking, we were given extra slices. The staff were really courteous and offered me a drink while I waited for our order. The pizza is now our favorite. We will be going back to Bianchi’s.

I would give this restaurant no-stars if that was an option. We waited 40 minutes for the ravioli appetizer that was lukewarm and chewy. Someone from the kitchen passed by our table and asked what we were waiting on — turns out the waiter never put our order in. And the gnocchi wasn’t even available as ‘the boss’ wasn’t there to make it. We ordered something else(while still waiting on the pizza and Caesar salad — going on 50 minutes at this point). After another 10 minutes we opted to just pay for the sad appetizer and leave. Couldn’t even do that efficiently as there were already people waiting in line to do the same thing — just to get out of there. Stood there and watched several pizzas and dishes sitting on the line, getting cold and soggy. Glad the manager had the good sense to not charge us for the app — would have been even more disappointing to pay for entrees that were old.

Nice little restaurant hidden downtown. its clean and comfortable. The servers are nice and attentive. The food is reasonably priced for any authentic Italian restaurant. I was happy to say I got what I paid for it was delicious. Definitely returning.

Our server Garret made an excellent recommendation of a shrimp and scallop pizza off the menu with basil pesto added to it and it was by far my best dining experience in Hattiesburg in the 2 months I was here

Outstanding place! Terrific service and food. I have been touring the country for a couple of months in my little RV and had pizza in St Louis, Philly and NYC. Who would have guessed the best was in Hattiesburg MI? This pizza is proof that it is impossible to be too thin or too rich. The crust is fashion-model-thin and the toppings are rich as Rockafeller. Stay in your comfort zone and build your own, or take a walk on the wild side with one of their gourmet offerings. I had the Gianetti: sun-dried tomato pesto, chicken, red onions, and a touch of avocado. I highly recommend this place.

I got the worst food poisoning for my life here. It’s really sad because I love to eat local and liked this place before this happen. For me I can just never take the risk again.

Love the pizza. Love the Gelato bar. Get anything here – it will be amazing. Definitely in my top five places to eat in Hattiesburg. It has a cool, downtown atmosphere. It’s laid back, but not super casual. We have date nights and kid nights here. My favorite thing about the pizza is the thin, crispy, wood-fired crust. My favorite flavor of Gelato is the pistachio, although all the flavors are wonderful and fresh-tasting. They’ll let you try them all before buying, which makes the decision very hard. We like to walk around downtown after stuffing ourselves with pizza and Gelato. We always end up at Bianchi’s for dinner, so the shops are always closed. But it’s still nice to walk around the quiet streets. When the University is in session, you can usually follow the sounds of live music to a night spot.

Again and again we try to support this local pizza joint, and the only thing consistent with the experience is mediocre customer service. Our small house salad and small pizza were pretty good. Our beer was overpriced but cold. I checked in on Unilocal, and it mentioned I get a free dessert for checking in. I showed it to our simple, slightly slow waiter. He didn’t know what Unilocal was and claimed he had never seen the coupon. after I explained the promotion for his restaurant to him, he asked his manager to help him. The Manager refused to take the coupon, and made the waiter return to us and explain the situation. The dessert was worth $ 4.95. Unacceptable. Terrible customer interaction and clearly no business acumen. It’s time for natural selection to weed this one out. Maybe someone else who can stick a pizza in a brick oven will be smarter with their customer base. Also, don’t charge $ 8 for the local brew. Disappointed is an understatement. 2⁄5 for decent food.

Great pizza and appetizers but slow and below average service. This place would be amazing if the service was a bit better. Our waiter never returned after our order was placed. Luckily they have plenty of staff to wave down and get taken care of. The dough is light and amazing. The tiramisu is amazing! 4 stars on food! 2 stars on service.

What a great place. Great food, good drinks. A good beer selection. Even a Gelato bar. Manager Jeri and owner Tom try to get to know their customers. So first trip or one of many, you will always get the family treatment. Don’t pass it up downtown!

This place is a hidden treasure. I love there pizza. My boyfriend took me on a date here for the first time and I loved the look of the place. The waiter was really nice and very helpful. I will come back here again. The sweet tea is just right and the TVs are nice to watch. I love how they mixed old school art with new school.

So the food is pretty good. The artichoke dip is the bomb. The service is left wanting. she is training someone new. But really snotty. I have never heard of a calzone that does not come standard with ricotta and mozzarella. No worries on the ricotta its kinda nasty, comes premixed with spinach. You lose that ricotta sweetness. But they charge the ricotta as extra. When I comment on it she says talk to where they know best. They moved here from italy. Are you serious. The tiramisu is so good. Waiting on calzone I will be back to let you know how that goes, I don’t have high hopes. Well its pretty small for price. 3.5 stars on taste 2 on service.

The only redeeming part of this experience was the eager, maybe even overly eager server, and the spinach and artichoke dip. This was great, and probably frozen but whatever. The bread served with it was yummy. When you walk into the place it’s very depressing and nondescript. It was also a Saturday night and there was only one table outside, none in the front dining room. I remember my friend telling someone we would meet them in the bar. He led me back there and I’m wondering why the whole restaurant wasn’t as cozy and cute as the back bar area. As I mentioned our served was overly eager which can be annoying, but is always better than an annoyed server who doesn’t want to be there. Added bonus there was a manager type who just leers at you hanging out at the bar. The menu was weird. As I had never been there, I flipped to the back of the menu to read the story behind the restaurant. The pictures were great but the story was wordy and hard to follow. I believe there were only two appetizers on the menu, but our server let us know about the spinach and artichoke dip and the calamari. Of course we ordered the former after my friend told me they often run out, so it’s a treat. They had a pretty decent beer and wine list, complete with $ 5PBR pitchers. The«gourmet» pizzas weren’t really gourmet. They seemed to just be random and odd combinations of ingredients thought to be different and gourmet. Duck and salmon on pizza? No. The pizza we got was bland. The sauce had no flavor and I could only taste acid. The crust and toppings weren’t much better. The bread with the spinach and artichoke dip made me excited to try the actual pizza as it was a pizza type bread. Overall the pizza just wasn’t impressive. I did like that they had cloth napkins. The server was good. There were TVs which is always great. We had a party of 4 seated at a 4 top table. By the time our pizza was brought out I realized we should have been at a 6 or 8 top. Unlike most every pizza place, even if they are trying to be gourmet, there wasn’t a stand for the pizza so it was awkwardly on the table making everything squished and really limiting our space.
