As someone who was a former employee here I would not recommend this store to anyone. The owner may seem nice when you’re inside but keep in mind you’re a paying customer obviously she is going to be nice so you buy her merchandise. Multiple occasions after costumers left she said horrible cruel things about them. I was absolutely miserable at this place, the owners were mean and made me work for 2 weeks without pay because they «didn’t want to pay me until they were sure I was staying here» is that even legal? Their clothes are overpriced and don’t let her fake personality fool you because I can guarantee that once you walk out the door she will saying nasty things about you.

For almost two decades in the Boro of Hats, the Sweater Mill has been a reliable source for women’s staples (such as Three Dots, Michael Stars and Lilla P knitwear), beautiful intarsia sweaters and delightfully eccentric jackets. A little store that capably handles both the basics and ephemera is quite a find. Especially when they are discounted. The lovely owner, Yvette, is endlessly helpful to customers. She not only suggests additional items that a customer might like but she also provides honest feedback about fit and drape. Additionally, if you are a fan of a particular line, she will call you. Who does that anymore?
Don’t miss the impressive selection of socks and relatively inexpensive scarves.
The store also has a decent array of men’s sportswear.

Love this place. Seriously easy to go broke here… Very unique things u simply can’t find other than maybe online… But here u get to c it before buying… No shipping charges and return charges apply… Love this place

If you are in search of something «different» (and not what you see in the Mall or in one of the chain stores), the Sweater Mill is a good option. They offer a selection of trendy and classic men’s and women’s sweaters (duh!), shirts, tops, accessories, etc. Prices are a little higher than you find in the chain stores, but the quality of the merchandise, the personal service and the selection make it all worthwhile. I love the woman who is always behind the counter (I think she’s the owner), as she is honest when you ask for her opinion. Who does that anymore? Very refreshing.

This is my favorite store. I always walk out with something. The quality is great and the prices are very good for what you get. The clothing is always fashionable and it is clothing that makes you feel good when you wear them. I always get compliments when I have them on. Even though I am a mall shopper it is nice to stop in there and not always have to run to the mall.
