I’ve never had a bad sandwich from Silvio’s in the many, many years I’ve been eating hoagies from this store. The rolls are the best part– Chewy on the outside, soft on the inside. The meats are all fresh and delicious. I usually order a turkey or tuna and I’m consistently impressed. The only downside is the hours. Wish they were open later into the evening. Aside from that, I can’t complain.

Silvio’s Rules! Their meats and cheeses are all quality. The Cranberry Chicken Salad is a work of art that can bring tears to your eyes. The Italian is up there with all the other fine hoagies that our city has to offer. Their cheesesteaks are awesome. Eat at Silvios!

Best rolls ever. The staff are so nice. I buy a dozen rolls and freeze them. Great for having with an Italian meal or making your own sandwich. They also make incredible sandwiches to purchase.

My pizza cheese steak rocked.
The way you order and pick up is a bit cramped. So be prepared for a wait and a crowd.
They offer a military discount for active and retired service members.
The staff is friendly and clearly knows their locals.

Stopped by after reading some Unilocal reveiws, they aren’t wrong. We tried their personal size chicken stromboli and it tasted really great, it was a great balance between bread, meat and cheese. The store is very clean and the people behind the counter are nice.
I had a hard time choosing what I wanted but I am now looking forward to the next visit.

Awesome hoagie and sandwiches. They are huge. Way better than wawa across the street. Prices are good. Only downside is parking. Can be tricky at peak times. Tip: call ahead. Go to wawa, park and Order a frozen drink, pay for it. While you’re waiting for the drink, pick up at Silvio ’ s. Then get drink. I’ve had to do it. Worth the extra effort to enjoy a real deli sandwhich.

What a fabulous place to get good solid food. Silvio’s has awesome Stromboli in a large variety of sizes. As a bigger man I do appreciate the larger size Stromboli’s. Each one is packed with delicious meats and cheeses. The convenience of being able to call in my order and have it hot and ready for pick up is a major plus. The only thing I can say bad about Silvio’s is the limited parking space. But knowing the high traffic times makes the experience worth the hassle. I have been going there for years on lunch breaks and will continue to do so for years to come.

Top Notch sandwich counter. I’ve played it close with Italians or Cheese Steaks, they’re that good so I stick to what works. Short menu lends to the whole «do one thing and do it well» — that shoe fits.
They don’t skimp on meat. Bread is as good as other reviewers raves. Good prices.
Only dings are for the bankers hours (close at 6) and that it can get helter skelter during busy times, as you have to work your way thru people waiting to place your order.

Incredible bread. Some of the best in the Philly/Tristate area. It’s as good or better than the «other» rolls that many of the other delis use. Just the right amount of crusty goodness. Airy. Beautiful.

Silvo’s is the place I can buy for their best cheesesteaks which I usually recommend to my out-of-town friends to buy to make their trips memorable. It’s the only place that they make their own bread and the way they cook the meat and cheese is a 10+! Even this place do airlifts of cheesesteaks to Iraq for the American solders.

The cheesesteaks were okay at Silvio’s. I’ve had better cheesesteaks in the area. The best part of the cheesesteak was the bread, which would of been great with an Italian Hoagie. I would go back, but I would try a Italian hoagie instead.

Best cheesesteak outside of Philly.
The roll is a bit more doughy and big but wow does it work with that steak, onion and cheese.
It’s a counter-only establishment with no seats so be prepared to stand around a bit and take it back home or to work.

As most of the reviews mention, the homemade bread made at Silvio’s is absoultely amazing, which makes any sandwhich you order amongst the best you will ever have. I live 45 minutes away and make the trip there every chance I get. Go there… NOW!!!

Excellent. I had a cheesesteak hoagie today and it was perfect. Clean, fresh and pretty large. Most of all, good quality meat.
At this point I’ve been back a few times and I can say this is one of the best sandwich shops, period.
