I have spent many sunny days @ Point Douglas Beach in Prescott. It is what it is: a small beach on the river next to the highway & train tracks. However, the beach & restrooms are always clean & people are always nice. There is a small sandy beach area to the west of the point with a sand volleyball court & towards the east point, there is a long grassy hillside with picnic tables & trees for shade. Located right across the river from DT Prescott, it is walking distance from multiple restaurants & bars. Made for a very nice 4th of July venue as we had breakfast DT Prescott & made our way to the beach for some fun in the sun :)
