I compare every pizza to this, The Holy Grail. I’ve had great pizza in NYC and San Francisco (The Mona Lisa and Nob Hill Café in San Fran are great, by the way!), but Ray’s is my benchmark for judging all pizzas. The crust is thin and slightly sweet and the hamburger is finely ground. Everything about it is perfect. My grandparents lived in Hastings before they passed and we went to Ray’s often. Now we make special trips to Hastings just for the pizza. Please build a Lincoln location!

Pizza was just average. Nothing special, lacked sauce. We ordered the hamburger and sauerkraut. Hamburger was to much. Also had pepperoni and his one was the better of the two but still bland.

Definitely worth a stop when you’re in Hastings! I thought the sour kraut on our pizza would be overbearing, but it wasn’t.

Great pizza flavors, but I have gotten undercooked pizzas here in the past. Try the hamburger/​sauerkraut/​jalapeño pizza, it’s very good. I also hear they smoke their own brisket sometimes and use it as a topping, but it is rumored to sell out quickly.

Very good pizza. Papa Rays has been around years. They have awesome quality pizza. I love the sausage and shrimp pizza combined. They have delivered to Lincoln a few times, so I hope Lincoln continues to give them business.

This is truly home made style pizza. This place has been here forever or at least 40 years. My father in law says the quality is as good as when he was growing up. We had the cheeseburger pizza which is a legend at this place. It got the two thumbs up from my wife who is a true pizza lover. Wings were great too! The place is truly family run with the young ones playing off to the side of the kitchen and the owners/​cooks happy to carry on a conversation between tossing the pies in the oven. Close to the college and they deliver!
