Johnson’s Painted Cabinets & Vanities

Matt did a great job on our whole house. In the space of two months he painted every surface in the house with his assistant… including all of the trim and all of the kitchen cabinets and interior doors. He uses high quality paint (which can add up – but is worth it) and spray enamels trim, doors and cabinets… no brush marks. Most of the pictures he posted are of my kitchen.
Only reason I’m taking off a star (i’d only take off ½ if I could) is that he didn’t quite get the scale of how many total hours the project was. So, even though I moved back my move in date by 2 weeks (for other reasons), he still was finishing things up on move-​in day. However, he worked extra weekends and nights leading up to that so that everything was done on time. So he is a man of his word and will get it done one way or the other.
That said, I definitely would recommend him. I think he learned a lot from this project about how to plan and estimate how many total hours a very large project like this would take. I’m full confident that he could plan smaller ones (kitchen only, etc) and meet his committed timelines. And again, at the end of the day the quality of the work was excellent.
