Great experience, as always. The ambiance is warm and inviting, the food options are perfect, and the tastings are well priced for a pay tasting room. The pourers were what sealed the experience for us. Johnathan provided excellent customer service and engagement and made us feel welcome with his light humor and positivity Eric’s level of knowledge was exceptional and un-forced. Thank you for such a great team!

My wife and I stopped by the Alexis Bailly winery last night as part of her birthday present and our only regret is that we haven’t come here sooner. Incredibly friendly staff and great wine. The vineyard has a ton of character and served as a great escape for two busy working parents who seldom get time to decompress. My wife was a big fan of the seyval blanc and the rose noir. I enjoyed the country red. Very reasonably priced tasting and the dessert wines will definitely have us returning when it’s time to prepare for entertaining on Christmas Eve. Thank you to the winery staff for a great afternoon.

Such a lovely place to visit and only 30 minutes away for me, located within 10 minutes of downtown Hastings… very professional establishment. This was my second visit, and I decided to sign up for the wine membership… it’s only a 2x per year commitment and will get you 12 bottles of wine.

This is the Minnesota winery you want to visit. Knowledgeable pourers. $ 5 tasting. Great selection of wines. Their Voyageur wine really is a good representative for Minnesota grapes. They don’t make the sickly sweet stuff that you’ll find at a lot of midwest wineries. Their dessert wines are quite interesting. Haven’t ever had a dessert wine that I even remotely liked before I came here but they managed to present a few very interesting drinks. Worth giving a try even if you are like me and don’t like sweeter wines at all.

Wonderful experience. Friendly staff. Enjoyable grounds. My favorite Minnesota/Wisconsin winery. Visit in the fall for the day with friends.

Gorgeous grounds — wonderful guys behind the tasting station — sweet dog and some drinkable wines… Do you want to just get out and enjoy a beautiful day take a little trip over to this tucked away spot right outside of Hastings. Pack yourself up some snacks and get yourself a nice bottle of the voyager – (it was my favorite) you can really taste the depth of this wine it was the most full bodied that they offer other than dessert wines. If you like a very light drinkable perhaps have the country red or white. You need some special occasion wine you should pick up a bottle of the chocolate kiss — it is just like liquid chocolate and a little goes a really long way but oh – how delightful. The do not do weddings or events here but oh how I wish they did — I would be booking something pronto — it is absolutely a peaceful and stunning location.

This place was just the escape I needed last Friday. For that, I totally give it 5 stars. Let me break it down. This place is great because A. Its close to the cities(Hastings is probably like 40 minutes from Minneapolis), B. Its adorable, C. The wines are very good. It looks like an adorable wood cabin/lodge. I need to come here in the fall or winter, because I think it would be magical. There are little tables to sit at, a vineyard dog(a rescue dog named Tumi) fields to walk in, some snacks to buy, etc. So, start off with the $ 5 wine tasting. I’m not sure if this is the norm, but we ended up tasting 8 wines(4 white, 4 red) AND getting to try 4 of the dessert wines. AKA, 12 wines for $ 5. And to buy a glass is about $ 6. A STEAL! The wines were all very good and they had some solid reds, which I like. The staff was informative and friendly. You can bring a picnic lunch from home, wander the fields, etc. I’m in love. They have little events there, and also have a wine club– which I would consider doing if I felt like I would actually get out to Hastings often enough.

The grounds are lovely. So many places to have a picnic or just sit and have a glass of wine! The only thing is that I’m not used to having to pay for wine tastings. It’s a commo
