Excellent service and wonderful food, well worth it. I had the filet mignon with a Gorgonzola cheese and fig reduction which was excellent. My son had the veal chop which was also excellent. The wife had the lobster ravioli a very good choice. I will definitely be back again.

A group of us came for a delayed holiday get together and I was not disappointed. It was a freezing cold day and we took the train from grand central which was just around the corner. Our table was cozy, food was good and service was excellent. I will admit it was very quiet in there but I chocked it up for Sunday at 6 pm. The ambiance is very big, elegant, airy and reminded me of a west coast establishment. It is right on the hudson river and I will definitely come back in the summer to enjoy the outdoor space. I had the ricotta appetizer and the risotto and split the tiramisu which were all delish. My friends had the spicy shrimp, chicken and pizza. All which they enjoyed. I felt this was a breath of fresh air, outside of NYC, lots of room, they didn’t rush us, everyone was friendly. I highly recommend getting a break from the city and coming up here. I will be back in the summer where I can enjoy the outside space. I hear they have their own garden and grow their own ingredients.

From the moment you walk in the door, you know your dining experience will be amazing! From the atmosphere and architecture to the water view, it starts there. The menu has something for everyone and the deserts are amazing! Our server Jimmy was extremely informative and Nick was the most gracious host! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

A NYC caliber dining experience. Loved it. The filet mignon was perfection. The ricotta starter was unique and delicious. The service was impeccable. The décor is lovely. On Thursday they have a band and that was such a nice touch for our night out. I can’t wait to return. My only suggestion would be better wine glasses. These were small and too thick. Part of the pleasure of drinking a nice wine is the swirl and sniff. Could not do that last night.

Over rated and over priced… I have eaten here. severalmtimes food is hot or miss. last time ordered the special pasta and was shocked when setting with a cream sauce appeared I couldn’t eat it… and the bill came and even though they took off my meal it was still a. shock…it’d NOT authentic italian food and if your real lucky u get a seat near the window

Fabulous décor and ambience. Terrific service(neither neglected nor rushed. We were the last party in the place.) Menu both basic(steaks, seafood) and clever(wide range of appetizers, including pizzas.) A real experience. Solid wine list. Have to go back in spring/summer for outside dining and view. Pricier than some of the river neighbors, but well worth it for a special occasion. Nothing to not like. My first 5 star rating!

Arguably one of the most beautiful restaurants in the Rivertowns and/or Westchester. I’ve been here 20+ times in my life, most of which consisted of sitting outside in the summer for drinks. The few times I have dined inside at a table, I was always incredibly disappointed in the actual food(based on what they charge) and the service is a complete mess every time(again, only inside). The hostess is usually a local high school student of sorts and they, too, fall short. READ: you are paying for the atmosphere here. Will you hate the food? No. Absolutely not. However, I think you may be surprised with the pricing compared to how satisfied you end up being. Maybe it’s just me and I’ve had bad luck.

I had lunch here last week during Restaurant Week. The views are absolutely gorgeous!!! The food was very good– I even enjoyed my mojito, which is a miracle(it’s so hard to find bartenders who know how to make a good mojito)! Our server was pleasant. All in all, a very nice experience. I will definitely be back!

I worked a wedding here a few Saturday’s ago. The usual perks of being a vendor at a wedding is being able to eat the same dinner the guests receive. I had the filet minion which I kid you not was the best I have ever had! The steak was cooked to perfection and was paired with delicious potatoes and veggies! The interior is very rustic yet modern. The exterior is gorgeous, I have never seen it in the summer but since it’s fall it was full off fall leaves and vines and overlooks the Hudson River. The location itself is absolutely breathtaking! I will be back!

I’ve been here twice, for business dinners, in recent weeks. Not particularly busy either night, but with a much larger group for the second dinner. The upshot: the smaller your group, the better off you are in terms of service. Our waiter could not tell me what single malt scotches they had on offer – I had to walk over to the bar myself to check. Appetizers and entrees are very good, but the flourless chocolate cake was a cold brick. The rabbit is simply outstanding. Two very different experiences, but I will give it another shot. It’s too cold now to sit outdoors but the views from their patio area are spectacular. It’s pricey, so beware.

I came by here with some friends back in April and I really enjoyed it. The venue is really cool a nice building located on the Hudson, the day we went it was nice enough to sit outside and enjoy the view. I think all four of us ordered a pizza, the style was authentic Italian(i.e. not a thick Domino’s type pizza) a thin one with very simple yet tasty ingredients. Everything was delish, would definitely recommend.

I expected way better, especially in a culinary hub like the Hudson Valley. The place was empty; I naively thought because it was 6PM on a week night. Nope, it’s because the place isn’t good. Never a good sign when you ask the staff for recommendations and they can barely come up with any. Even worse when you take their advice and are disappointed. 2 appetizers– the crab cake & artichoke. Both cold and boring. Person 1 ordered the veal entrée– Panko, fried, completely flavorless, served with a side of dressed greens which did little for the dish. Person 2 ordered steak, came out cooked properly, but cold. We sent it back. Husband ordered Scottish salmon, but had no utensils so now two people are waiting to eat. I ordered an Alfredo pasta dish with fennel sausage. It was creamy, served hot, but still just ok. The sausage barely made an appearance in the dish-no flavor layers, just cream. When the steak finally re-arrived it was good, but like the pasta nothing to write home about. Husband waited a long time for utensils, kinda ridiculous considering the place barely had any diners. I feel the same way about serving us cold food– a major turnoff and unacceptable when you only have a handful of tables to concern yourself with. I tried the salmon and thought it was the standout of the recommendations, but keep in mind this isn’t saying much. My husband’s opinion-good, but not worthy of a return trip. No one bothered refilling my water. No manager visited our table which I would expect having sent back a dish in addition to the other problems. Cost: $ 227 which I think is high considering no one ordered desert or alcohol– we all drank water. Our waiter left with check and payment and we were kept waiting a long time, only for him to return and tell me «we don’t take Discover.» C’mon, get it together! I live in a small town with nothing but a few bad chain restaurants. If you can’t impress me good luck with New Yorkers!

This is my absolute favorite restaurant! I usually go with a large group of people so I can say I’ve had a fair taste on appetizers, entrees, & all desserts. I live about an hour away but this place is definitely worth the drive. There is a magnificent décor & a outstanding view. The wait staff is always informative & prompt. I love love love the seafood salad. The food is always delicious & fresh. Thank you for making my last visit special.

My SO and I were here on a Thursday night and have to say that this is now my new fav outdoor place to eat! The wait was only 30 minutes for an outdoor seating which was not bad considering we had no reservations. During the wait, we made our way to the bar and ordered the the best mojitos I have ever tasted!(highly recommend the Mixed berry coconut). My SO had the classic mojito which was also delish! While we still had a few minutes to be called for our a table, we took advantage of the scenery and strolled around the terrace and explored the beautiful gardens. For dinner, I ordered the Margherita pizza and was completely satisfied with my dish. Overall, It was truly a great outdoor dining experience. The service was outstanding. Our server was very friendly and attentive. It was the truly the perfect romantic date night and will def be coming back :)

Love this place — I’ve been to Harvest many times and they never disappoint. Situated right on the Hudson River, Harvest offers a lot of eye candy. The views of the river are spectacular, and they have a large deck for outdoor seating when the weather is nice. They also have lovely gardens which they utilize for many of the dishes they serve. The actual restaurant is large — low lighting with wood tones and reds create a warm atmosphere. Harvest serves Italian food with general Mediterranean influences — their menu categories are pretty basic, but some standouts are a variety of artisan pizzas and pastas — plus a selection of cured meats and cheeses and a raw bar. On my most recent trip I decided to start with the crispy artichoke — it was flavorful and the leaves were fried nicely. It came with shaved parmesan and a lemon wedge which complimented the flavor of the artichoke well. For my main I had the shrimp bruschetta which was out of this world — large shrimp served with white beans and cherry tomatoes in a lemon butter sauce served on top of a grilled country bread. The flavors were amazing, and they didn’t skimp on the shrimp which I appreciated. For dessert I had the peanut butter ice cream cake — you can taste the peanut butter without it being overbearing, it was the perfect finisher. I know other reviews cite the service as a weak spot but I’ve never had a bad experience with it. Harvest is probably my favorite Westchester restaurant on the river and one I will return to time and again.

What a disappointing meal ! Our two dry Manhattan cocktails were excellent, The appetizer, mozzarella and tomato was boring and the tomato was unripe. Our entrees, two different fish and seafood pasta dishes, one a regular menu offering and the other a special, were served five minutes apart and one of them was cold. They were tasty enough, but not distinguished as should be the case in so expensive an establishment. The wait staff, although numerous, available and friendly, appear to be disconnected from the kitchen. The wine list is very diverse but not too long, with excellent choices. The feeling is that H-o-H is resting on its laurels. Cost with tip, dinner for two: $ 180.00

The atmosphere at the restaurant is very nice with a nice view of the Hudson, very peaceful. The dinner started with bread, which have a wonderful aroma. The salad with the goat cheese, walnuts and vinagarette was surprisingly tasty. My entrée was the yellow fin tuna with what sounded really tasty a egg plant and roasted tomatoes, but I must admit, it was only acceptable. To end the dinner I had a cup of coffee, which too, was acceptable. Overall, I found the experience passing and somewhat disappointing.

This is our second visit here and we were very pleased with the lunch price-fix menu .$ 24 for an app and entrée. It’s a very good deal for such a high-end restaurant. Our server was exceptional and the food was very good. Don’t come in a rush as the food does take some time to make it out.

This is a beautiful restaurant on some prime real-estate! Went for restaurant week dinner sunday evening and it was a pretty dusk light that filled the interior. Started w a drink at the bar. Bartenders were helpful, knowledgable and accommodating. Had the mule, it was delicious! Sat by the window for dinner, pretty views and calming atmosphere. Apps were the Cesar salad for my bf, carpaccio for me. The carpaccio was very delicious paired w the zucchini and cheese it comes w. Entrees were short rib and pork milenesse. Short ribs were better than the pork by far! Desserts were the chocolate and the grape desserts. Both were delicious and a nice ending. Drinks were strong, service was good, place was beautiful! I just didn’t know my pork was fried, I should have asked, so I didn’t enjoy it too much. I’d get something different next time.

I have to give this place a five star based on my experience here today. We are from out of town, our first and maybe only time we will be here. We enjoyed the drive up to this place — not an easy task to find this hidden gem. The location is stunning with views of the Hudson River and the Palisades across the river. The gardens around the restaurant are lovely even covered in snow. The restaurant almost has a lodge feeling inside with beautiful tall windows to maximize the river view. We came dressed casually, but there were several others in business casual. I could imagine in the evenings that people might dress up a bit more. This is a perfect place for a romantic meal. You could bring the kids, but it would be more fun without them in this quietly romantic venue. Bring them in the summer when you can enjoy the outdoors — there is a playground right there. The wait staff were professional and friendly. I noted some comments in other posts about inattentiveness, but perhaps those reviews have helped, as the service was perfect today. The lunch menu had so many choices it was hard to choose. I liked that you could eat big or light — with several enticing appetizers, salads, full or half orders of pastas, and entrees. There was a nice prix fixe menu too with several options on it. It was restaurant week, and you could choose 3 items for less than $ 21 and the choices looked very nice. In the end, we decided to eat a light lunch of the artichoke appetizer and half orders of pasta, the linguine with pistachio pesto and orange zest(hmmmm!) and the fettuccini with mixed seafood(very yummy and not fishy tasting). You could tell the pasta was freshly made — excellent and satisfyingly chewy(al Dente). The artichoke was uniquely prepared — and very good with crispy edges and a tender meaty heart. There is bread with a nice olive oil for dipping too. We left full, satisfied, relaxed and happy! This is a great place to take people to impress them of both the food and the area scenery. I hope to be back in the future to try more dishes! Thanks Unilocal, for helping me find this treasure.
