Very happy! Joy was a referral. I called because I injured my eye and she got me in immediately. Very informative, and listened to everything I had to say. Plus, she made me aware that my health insurance would cover the majority of the cost; with the exception of my deductible; which was a bonus as I just assumed it would have to go under my eye coverage which doesn’t cover much! I drove just less than an hour for this appointment and will continue doing so. She seems to be a very popular office with all ages…

I was referred to Joy Family Eyecare by my parents who visit Dr. Bate yearly for their eye exams and glasses as well. I had my daughter’s and my exam by Dr. Bate who is very thorough, friendly and professional. She was able to help my daughter’s eye twitch. They have an excellent selection of frames, and quick turnaround for lenses-we had ours back in a week. Great local business!

We’ve been seeing Dr. Bate for 3 years. She’s been great with my youngest son who has difficulty seeing and actually advised us to patch his eye when other doctors wouldn’t even see him. Great service, great staff!

Just wanted to share my experience today with Joy Family Eyecare. We ordered my husbands Oakley prescription sunglasses 8 weeks ago and paid for them. They said it would be 3 weeks. After 3 weeks they called saying the incorrect product had come in. Last week(7weeks in), they call stating Davis vision can no longer do the Oakley frames and to get them done they need more money. I called Oakley today. They have not disallow Davis to do any lenses to include sunglasses. I am pissed about the bait and switch tactic this local business attempted. I am getting the money we paid back but will never take my family back to them.
