Terrible place, messed up my expensive boots by putting a nail to the heel, which scratched all surfaces while walking, & didn’t even last one day, who does that anymore??(((((((((

When Harry was running this place it was fantastic. He was my family’s cobbler for nearly 20 years, but it seems as though he sold his business. I recently moved back to the area after living in Southern California for 7 years. I was shocked when I walked in a saw 2 people (man and woman) that I had never seen before, behind the counter.
I asked if they would be able to convert the soles of my Cole-​Haan wingtips to non-​slip. The guy said it wouldn’t be a problem and promptly charged my $ 45 for the work. He said the shoes would be ready in 5 days. I came back today to pick them up and they look good.
I’ll have to do a little comparison shopping to see if the $ 45 price tag for the work is legitimate. Personally, I thought it was a bit on the high side, but we’ll see. I will get to the bottom of this.
