I have been going here for years, Paula is wonderful. She is very accommodating. My color is always perfect and she cuts my hair the way I want it. She is very educated about all the new stuff coming out. When you are there they treat you like family, such a friendly place to go!

I only get my hair cut once or twice a year, so when I do, it’s a big deal. That is why Paula is the only person who has cut and styled my hair in over ten years. Not only is she a talented and conscientious stylist, but she is one of the sweetest, most beautiful people I have ever met.
It’s like being in a Midwest version of Truvy’s Beauty Parlor in Steel Magnolias. It’s not just a place to go get your haircut, but a place to sit and chat with the girls, maybe have a piece of coffeecake and just relax. If you want a ten minute haircut and dash, this isn’t the place for you. Paula and her staff make everyone feel welcome. Nobody rushes you to make a decision. If you aren’t sure how much hair you want chopped off, she will take her time and go in stages to ensure you make a decision you are comfortable with.
My mom and I both come here (my mom comes more regularly) and she takes such a genuine interest in her clientele that she has actually called to check-​in on my mom after doctor’s appointments or losses in the family. When I came in to get a haircut after landing a job after being unemployed for six months, she told me that she had been praying for me. That’s Paula.
Beside being a hair salon, you can also come there for a massage or to get your nails done. While I cannot personally review these services, I can say that Cutri’s gets repeat customers for more than just their salon services.
Cutri’s Hair Designs is now only open three days a week, so it would be in your best interest to call ahead to make an appointment before stopping in.
