Great haircut by John at a reasonable price, $ 19. John is a delightful fellow who knows his jazz. His play list is full of wonderful artists and I look forward to returning. Next time I plan to copy some of the musicians on his apple music list!

After trying to find a great barber shop on the Cape and struggling to find a great establishment, we came on Unilocal and noticed there are not many reviews. BUT The Traditional Barber Shop had the most of all.
We are so impressed with this establishment! So modern, clean friendly and superb service. Every time we visit the Cape I’m sure my husband will return and look forward to his «traditional» barber experience.
I love the attention to detail on the interior design too! Super impressed on every level.

I moved to the cape 2 years ago. I had tried a few barbershops and wasn’t pleased. Then I happened upon John and I’m happy I did. He’s a professional and has always given me a quality cut. We always have a pleasant conversation. He recently got a website and was excited to show me a video on the history of barbers while I got my cut. (
). I’m just not looking forward to his shop getting busy in the summer!

John is great: friendly, easy to talk to, and very skilled. I came in with some bedhead and an unruly mop, and John took care of both of them.
The shop itself is beautiful: comfortable chairs, a well-​preserved antique cash register, great windows. Highly recommended!
