LOTSOFHIDDENFEES… I do not recommend joining, but if you do join get everything in writing, and read everything carefully… I had a one year contract and after the one year decided to do a month to month payment, when I called to cancel over the phone they told me they could«freeze» payments for 3 months and could return if I was able to… After the three months they automatically started charging me again for my monthly fee and was not made aware… Later they sent me a statement with two months fee and two card payment return fees with lots of other small fees that brought my balance to $ 250… VERYSNEAKYWAYOFCONDUCTINGBUSINESS

The gym has a nice pool and dressing/shower area. The reason it gets two stars is they cancelled the class myself and a lot of others enjoyed taking and moved it to a different time of day(and in my humble opinion they could care less that we all wanted to take the class still, but couldn’t make it). Also, the spin bikes are all kept in a locked room and no one can go in unless a class is going on. The two spin bikes they have in the main area for anyone to use are horrible. So they hide the good bikes and put out two crappy ones in the main area. I haven’t been back since they cancelled my class and as mentioned already, they could care less. So, if you like swimming and nice dressing area, then this is worth checking out. Otherwise, for the price they charge, you would be much better off going somewhere else(and probably paying less too).

I returned to finish up my summer membership. In between sets, I checked my phone and the manager went out of his way to say to me, «This is a gym. If you want to text, go do it elsewhere.» His audacity!

The gym is amazing and I really love playing basketball to warm-up before my workouts. The thing that bothers me is that the manager is a total DICK and has an attitude when he talks to you. Every time I see him I get very agitated. I gave it 3 stars because of the rude manager and the early closing times.

Just joined this gym. So far so good. It’s a small gym but nicer compared to others in the NOLA area. Keep in mind this a club not a gym thus the ping pong tables and couch in the locker room. Some of the workout rooms are not soundproof so type exercises can be limiting. Read the fine print carefully! #NOLA

I just joined this gym, and so far it’s been amazing. The aqua aerobics class are convenient and welcoming, the spinning classes are SUPER fun, and I’ve been really digging the women’s only weights room. Everything is really clean, and unlike some other gyms I’ve been too, this one does NOT feel like a meat market. The only downer is that the café inside is not so good for espresso drinks. The smoothies are delicious, though, so I’m not mad about it.

My wife and I were In town visiting family and friends over the Christmas holiday season. We each purchased a 7 day pass. The staff is friendly and the gym is in excellent condition(very clean — new equipment). The owner/manager takes a lot of pride in the facility and it shows — highly recommend.

I got a membership after a visit and reading the contract carefully, like I would at any gym that I joined. I found it to be a really great club with the standard membership agreement. It’s really clean and the staff I met there were really great. They have all of those Les Mills programs over there and that is a great work out. I had no problems with the manager for sure and I am glad I started working out again and this place is close to where I live and very motivational. The Day care helps me too.

If you need someplace to work out, this is not it. Today I went in to remove our daughter off of the club membership. They wanted to charge us $ 25 to remove her(as they did when we added her), and would not waive the fee. We have been members since 2008. Our daughter never used the facility, …so the club had no expense from her ever using the facilities, just revenue from our paying her membership. AND, when I said we would just cancel our entire membership at $ 100+ a month, they said we would have to pay the $ 150 cancellation fee. AFTER membership for almost 5YEARS… seems the fine print says the contract automatically renews every year if you don’t tell them to cancel in writing at least 30 days before. OKAY, so they have rules… but the thing I am most upset about was the general manager’s BAD, OBNOXIOUS, SUPERIOR attitude with me face to face. I never once raised my voice, but because I didn’t agree they should charge their fee to remove our daughter and questioned it, I was called, quote, «rude, just for asking them that absurb question»!! Find another place to work out. Seems they are hurting for members if they choose to enforce a $ 25 fee. I guess they thought they wouldn’t lose a $ 100+ per month membership year after year??? BADBUSINESSDECISION and BAD way to treat a customer(calling me names, really?), Mr. General Manager. I will find other venues to express my thoughts about the way I was treated today. This won’t go unnoticed.
