I ordered phở from this resteraunt for lunch 4 times and every time my order was wrong. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first 3 times. I called after it happened the 4th time and they were rude and would not recognize my order was wrong. The resteraunt is dirty and the staff is rude I would not recommend it.

Just left this restaurant. We were the only people there which was worrisome but wow, amazing and authentic food! Staff is super friendly and the food was delicious! wish I live nearby so I could come here more often. Unfortunately I live three hours away. Will definitely be back!

Love the drunken noodles here! I’ve had the Thai basil fried rice and phở as well. Food is usually very good. I did have one experience were it wasn’t so great but decided to go back — happy I did. One of my favorite Asian spots on the westbank. The dine in atmosphere is a little odd. Cute mason jar cups! Service was average.

I honestly didn’t ever think I would eat at this place because the sign just reminded me of a typical mediocre Asian restaurant(ZAYAMMM I sound shallow but at least I’m honest). My best friend invited me to eat here today and I was excited to go because of the Unilocal reviews. We were a group of three and we ordered the roti as an appetizer, phở, bun bo hue, and chicken panang curry. The roti was very simple but tasty. The appetizer came with a couple of pieces of roti and some curry type sauce to dip the roti in. I didn’t have the phở or bun bo hue, but the portion size of both looked huge and very filling. The chicken panang curry was very bold and spicy, but it’s probably just me who thinks it’s flaming hot because I can’t handle spicy food. It had carrots, broccoli, red bell peppers, and of course chicken. Overall it was good, but I’ve had better. The curry sauce from the roti appetizer tasted like this curry. I feel like by reading the Unilocal reviews, my expectations for this place was high but they weren’t exactly met… Or maybe it’s just because I’m Asian and my tastebuds have been pampered and spoiled by home cooked meals. My true rating for this place would be 3.5 stars, but I’d love to come back to this place and try other food. Next time I go, I’m gonna save some room for that mango and sticky rice!

Great fusion restaurant on the westbank. Everything that I have tried, from apps to desserts(mango sticky rice) have been fantastic. The one down side is that, every time I go in to eat there, I’m the only one there. I sure hope they survive, because this is an all-around great Asian fusion.

My husband and I really enjoyed the Phở. The broth had a very rich flavor, without being over salted. The steamed rice was very soft and sweet. The edamame was cooked just to the right tenderness and the salt ratio was perfect. Our server was very attentive and enjoyable. The menu was extensive! We can’t wait to go back and try everything they serve.

Chopstix has become my go-to for Vietnamese food every time I’m in New Orleans to visit family. They also have Thai items on their menu, which I was skeptical at first, but after having their basil clams and drunken noodle – they rival the best out there. The restaurant is family own and run. Very friendly people. The hubby and I have tried something different each time we come – phở, vermicelli, stir fried noodles, clams – all very flavorful. I also love the fact that they don’t serve the pre-mixed vietnamese coffee w condensed milk. Instead, the traditional drip filter is brought to the table. Please keep up the great food!

Had Bun Bo Hue and Pok Pok. Bun was very good, broth wasn’t too fish, lots of meat. Noodles were a little over cooked and broke apart when trying to eat them, Pok Pok was nothing special, pretty bland.

This place is so good!!! My favorite things are the spicy clams and the drunken noodle. The spicy clams are so flavorful and I love the roti it comes with to dip. You won’t be disappointed with this appetizer. I usually get the drunken noodle with seafood. I love the variety of things they put in there: shrimp, mussels, scallops, and squid! I really wanna try other things on the menu but always end up getting these two things because it’s soooo good. It’s sad that every time I’ve come here I’m either the only table or I’m one out of two. This place is really good and needs to get more recognition for it. I would hate to see it shut down from lack of customers! Spread the word people!

I love these people. they’re so nice and just… so family oriented. there was like two times I came and their family was sitting in the area by the bar with some kids and the grandparents, it was just so nice. when we came again the same lady who waits table looked like she was expecting, she was so sweet and the guy who worked in the kitchen came out to help and took our order. he was very very polite and humble. he highly recommended the bun bo hue which I got and am so glad I did. it wasn’t spicy like some places make it. the flavor was there and boy was it good! I just wish they also had the pork feet it would’ve perfect! the mister got the red curry and it was very good! it wasn’t spicy and had that sweet, coconut taste to it which is exactly how I like my curry and they serve it with a side of rice for you. we came back again today for some to go bc I was craving bun bo hue for lunch. LOL. this time ordering the chicken pad Thai for the mister and Bun Bo Hue again for me. I loved the pad thai, even though it was just chicken and eggs mixed with the pad Thai, it’s like what else were you expecting? I loved it. flavorful especially with a squeeze of like. It was just missing the crushed peanuts and raw bean sprouts to give it that crunchy texture but It’s all gooood. I’m so glad it’s 2 mins from the mister’s house. I can order to go all the time now!

Service: the service was good, she made sure we taken care of, kept our table clean and even pack our food for us which is always a nice touch for a restaurant to do. Food: Following up with my fellow reviewers I got the beef Pad Kee Mao aka Drunken Noodles. It was delicious with plenty of noodles and the beef was cooked nicely. One compliant I would have about the noodles would be the scarcity of the beef. For dessert we got the Sticky Rice with Mango, the mango was very fresh and ripe so it was perfect. Overall: Overall I would come back based on the items I got today.

My boyfriend and I have gotten to the point where we regularly visit this establishment. We always try something new and have loved everything on the menu. My favorite is the combination soup, and my boyfriends is the pork vermicelli. We’re excited to try their flan next time they have it! The staff is super friendly and always helpful! :)

The reviews on here are very misleading, I went to this place twice hoping that the first time was a fluke. The first time we went we ordered bubble tea, phở, and a rice plate. The bubble tea was pretty dang good! the phở wasn’t the right temperature so even though I added all of the vegetables the broth just tasted basic. The rice plate was OK and overall I just felt like the whole meal was overpriced. By the time I got the bill they had charged me a dollar extra for the boba and jelly when it wasn’t even listed on the menu as an extra charge. Last time we went I ordered Korean BBQ and it was so tough it was inedible. I literally could not chew through the meat. The calamari was the highlight of my meal and most of what they put on the plate was onions and vegetables. Overall I’d never recommend this place to anybody. Another thing that irked me was its décor, it’s all over the place. It doesn’t know whether it wants to be Chinese or American.

This place has the best Drunken Noodles, hands down! I’ve been here plenty of times and I always leave happy and satisfied everytime. They are pretty generous with the portion. The waitresses there are always attentive and very sweet. I haven’t tried any of their Vietnamese dishes, but I know that their Thai dishes are delicious. So far, for the appetizers, I’ve tried their Fried Tofu, Clams with Roti, Chicken Larb, and Tom Yum soup. I pretty much liked everything. For the main dishes, I’ve tried their Beef Drunken noodles, Chicken Paneng Curry, and Thai Basil Fried Rice.(The Drunken Noodles and Curry are my all time favorite there.) For dessert, I got the Mango Sticky Rice. It’s really sweet, so if you’re not a sweet-tooth type of person, I wouldn’t recommend it. It is delicious, though. All in all, I give this place 5 stars. They’re very consistent with their food. Also, if you keep 10 receipts from them, you get a free t-shirt!

I went to Chopstix Bistreaux when it first opened with a large group of friends and still go regularly. The décor is very mix-matchy, but I find it very cute. It reminds me of the Yellow House Vincent Van Gogh lived in due to the yellow walls. There is a TV, but the owners only play the news. The food is very mediocre, but more on the good side than bad. I go to this location a lot mainly because it is the only Thai restaurant that doesn’t close for lunch. The restaurant seems to depart from the traditional thai feel. They don’t ask how spicy you’d like it, so I always have to put in a request, but it comes out tasting the same(not spicy at all). I was given complimentary shrimp crackers before meals, but this doesn’t happen all the time. They also provide Vietnamese food, which is alright. I’d recommend the drunken noodles, kbbq, and Thai tea(delicious, but the taste varies every time). A majority of the time, I get the same waitress. She is very sweet and gives me excellent service every single time. However, the other waitress is just okay because she forgets to bring out orders and lacks knowledge of the menu.

I must’ve went on an off day at this place, because my review is nothing like some that I’ve read. I guess since I went a month after it just opened could play a big part in it. I hope they change how watery their thai tea was. It was tasteless and just bad. I order the seafood pad thai and was not impressed at all. It was overly sweet; I had to use the whole lime wedge they gave me and it was still too sweet. Couldn’t even finish it. The other dish(I don’t know the name) was ok to say the least. I liked the crispy-ness of it, but that’s pretty much all I can say about it. We order the pot sticker, but it was just eh. I had better ones from the frozen selection at the asian market. As stated, I hope it was just an off day for them and that the food gotten better. The place itself is clean and the staff was quick. I don’t think I would give this place another try for a good while.

Really impressed with this place. So, after listening to my friends rave about what an amazing place this is, I couldn’t wait to check it out. I stopped in for lunch, because I was craving phở and spring rolls. I decided on a small bowl of phở with brisket and eye round steak and some pork spring rolls. The rolls were super good. They were big, with a lot of flavor. The sauce on the side was not your typical peanut sauce. it was almost like a spicy barbeque sauce. It’s hard to describe, but it was delicious. The phở was great and packed a lot of flavor. I would have liked it if there were more noodles, but that’s not a huge deal. Everything was pretty typically priced and the restaurant itself was simple, like most Vietnamese restaurants. The staff was super attentive and was always sure to check and make sure everything was okay. I’ve heard the Thai food here is amazing, so when I go back, I plan to try that.

I have been putting off writing this review because I wanted to go back a few times before settling on a total star rating. But due to time, money and location, it doesn’t look like I’ll be going back anytime soon. What we had on our fist visit was outstanding though. The papaya pok pok(green papaya salad) was good and had an interesting texture. Seems they crack rice into it so it has a little… crunch is the wrong word but will have to do. The salad needed a little more spice/seasoning for me but that’s a personal preference and has nothing to do with the dish. The Girly had Pad Kee Mao(Drunken noodle) and she liked it. Again, for my taste it needs a bit more kick but the Girly liked it a lot. The star, for me at least, was the Crying Tiger(steak salad). It was wonderful. Perfectly spiced and had amazing textures and flavors. The Girly couldn’t eat any because she doesn’t do fish sauce too well but I loved it. It was the stand out dish for me. Service was spectacular and the ambience was very nice. I do think the prices are a bit higher than I’d like by an average of 1.50−2.00 a plate for the seafood versions of their main meals but the apps and salads were priced ok. I really do hope we can go back this year. It’s a lovely place with good food and service. And I’m sure they will keep getting better and better as time goes on. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes Asian foods.
