The Grapevine has a great selection of beer and wine, and their prices are very competitive with area liquor stores (cheaper in some cases than driving to Ayer).
The store is well organized, clean, and the cashier has always been very helpful.
However, they only carry beer and wine (no liquor).

Glad the Grapevine is here. This townie is pleased that this once dry town now has a couple of beer and wine locations to choose from. The very helpful lady in there suggested a nice Belgian beer for my party after determining what I like in a beer. I was very happy with it.

Love the Grapevine! One stop shop for a great selection of wine and beer. staff is friendly and attentive. They also have little wine tastings now and again so you never know when you could stop in and end up finding your favorite!

Friendly staff, accessible and laid back with a fantastic beer and wine selection. Prices are competitive with other local offerings. The biggest boon though is the location — you can grab a bottle of wine while you are waiting for your take out from Sorrentos to be ready and be on your way home in one stop.

Great new store opened in Harvard! They offer beer and wine. The selection of wine is amazing if you are a wine drinker… Beer selection is great too and the prices!!! OMG, I thought because it was Harvard it would be high but NO! For what I buy there prices beat all the liquor stores in Ayer by about 50 cents per 12 pack! My new favorite packie and supporting my own town!!!

Just opened within the last couple months, the Grape Vine is the 2^nd store opened by the owner. Also has a store in Boxborough. After a long process to get the Beer & Wine license they oped up shop. I’ve only been in once, but enjoyed my shopping experience. Large selection of wines, most of the store, and your typical beer selection. Store is new so it’s in great shape and looks good. Staff was friendly.

So this is another place has opened since Harvard stopped being a dry town and has been open about 2 months now. I finally stopped in and found it be better than your average corner store, but nothing spectacular.
The beer selection was good and they even have a walk in cooler so you can browse the cold stuff very easily. They also have a large selection of wines although they were pretty run of the mill. The prices were pretty good. There is no alcohol available as Harvard is only allowing sale of beer & wine right now.
