No frills diner food that totally met expectations. Bean soup with bacon was fabulous. Very good & tasty cheeseburger. Fries were merely OK. Friendly service and super fast cooking, had my food in 5 minutes.

this place offers great lunch. I had a cup of chicken gumbo soup and everything in is so fresh.
The side salad comes with extreme fresh green lettuce. I rated this place 5 stars due to price and great service. and the room is very cozy. LIKE LIKE LIKE

I wont be going back. This place is in desperate need of a cleaning and upgrade of fixtures. The carpet in the room we were in was filthy/​gross/​The middle-​aged waitress was a bit surly and said when she put our food down that we better not need anything further. We were here on a Sunday about 1 pm. I had breakfast, my husband lunch. The burger was well done — no chance to get any other temperature. My corned beef hash came in a pre-​formed patty. The pancakes were so-​so. The only plus was the food was HOT. Do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere.

We visited Kozy Nook in Harvard, IL for a late morning meal and time of visiting with my brother and his wife. We were all pleased with our meal and the service was very good. My brother lives nearby and will go again with family and friends. I will also go back, when in the area.

I wish I could give this place no stars. Service was horrible. My family and I went here after a Christmas party. The waitress was not only rude but seemed bothered when we asked for napkins. The food was terrible. My finance’s skillet had something that looked, smelled and tasted like corned beef. Not at all ham and bacon that he requested.
The waitress was nothing but awful. Some older lady with short blonde hair was our waitress and boy did she hate her job and us, especially my fiancé. She barely came around and when she finally decided to come & check on us, she was walking away as we were asking her for a refill.
My fiancé finally went to pay and it seemed as if he must’ve killed her puppy due to the glares she was giving him. The best part was when she threw the pen at him when he asked to use to sign the receipt then she threw the receipt at him.
The owner noticed the rudeness and quickly came over to make sure everything was ok. To date we still don’t know what this waitress’ problem was but I guess we’ll never find out since we will NEVER set foot in this place again. Food not so great and the service was awful.
Almost seemed as she was out right rude since we weren’t her «regulars». Must say that throughout it all, my fiancé was nothing but nice to her. Smiled and wished her a nice day as he left her a one dollar tip. Shame on you lady and the owner for allowing this behavior on first time customers!

Definitely a solid place for breakfast, nothing out of the ordinary (unique) as far as breakfast food is concerned. I had the Deluxe skillet and added sausage gravy to it, which they did not charge me for :) Skillet was good, no complaints, I would go back.

Doesn’t look like much but the service was great and the food was really good. It’s not gourmet but as far as diner foods go, I give them an A:-) I had the chicken blt wrap and the hubs had a burger. My kids each got something off their kids menu. Portions were large and we were happy with everything we ate. We will definitely go back when we are in the area again!

The food was good and fast. The service could have been better. The water glasses were too small and we had to ask for a refill.

This is a great place for a quick, tasty breakfast or lunch. It’s only open in the morning and afternoon, but the menu is excellent and extremely affordable. The servings are also large — I often split a meal with my mom or take home leftovers for lunch. This is a must-​have for anyone who comes through Harvard. The staff is great and the crowd is friendly.

We were passing through and stopped in. At first I wasn’t sure because the outside looks like the typical less than average restaurant. The inside looks that way, too.
The first spark of hope was our server, Amy. Very good, friendly, helpful service.
Then, when the food came, it actually looked pretty good! The breakfast was good (not gourmet, but good). The beef stir fry was great. The taco salad was excellent (it lived up to Amy’s high recommendation). The grilled chicken sandwich looked pretty good, but didn’t come with any toppings.
Overall, a good surprise.

Kozy has been feeding me for years. Kozy has cured my hangovers, served as a reunion spot and has not changed its style. Down home small town cooking with damn good friendly service.

Great service by Dorothy! We stop in for breakfest often. Good food, great quality and decent prices. The coffee is always warm and owner greets you with a smile and hello. Owner is even willing to assist getting coffee or what ever is needed. Dorothy always remembers our orders and checks on us often.

Great Mom & Pop food. Best breakfast for the price in town. Staff rates a 10. They pamper you and take care of your every need. Make this a breakfast or lunch stop when in Harvard, IL.
