Kirby’s Flower Village

I have used Kirby several times to order flowers for my mother who lives in the area. I live in Kentucky so I have not personally seen her flowers. In fact, many of the cases I have left the choice of what to send to Kirby and trusted her choice as to which plant would look the best. She has always made good choices and Mom was pleased. I will not hesitate to use her again.

I told Rose L. I am «following» her around good old Hartville. Fortunately, it is a small town.
Kirby’s recently did the floral casket sprays for my dad’s service. Our guidance to them was, «something masculine and maybe farm-​like». What the heck kind of request is that and what are «farm-​like» flowers?!?
Well, although not cheap (I don’t think they are cheap ANYWHERE), the casket sprays and other florals were absolutely gorgeous and perfectly chosen and arranged. There were some daisies and burlap-​like fabric woven into them. They were a tribute and a personal touch for my dad’s memory.
My family was all very pleased w/​Kirby’s work.
Hope to stay away from Hartville for awhile. Like Rose L., that’s my only reason (funerals) to be down there!

I called on Saturday to send flowers for my uncle’s visitation on Sunday. The lady who answered was driving in a rainstorm and pulled over to take my order. I am not a big-​time sender of flowers, but this was important. I gave her the max spending. The next day I was able to attend the visitation, and WOW! It was incredible! She had promised a potted plant with fresh flowers, and what she created went above and beyond my expectations. I was nearly in tears when I saw the arrangement. So pretty!
