Bagels are always fresh! Not so friendly staff but who cares… most people are in a rush.

Best Bagels within the Hartsdale /Scarsdale /Greenburgh district. The sandwiches and prepared foods are mediocre. the coffee is below average. They demonstrate no interest in preparing an order with care. Typically crowded Sunday mornings. My personal pefrences would permit me to overlook the limitations of sandwiches, prepared food and sub par coffee, but the counterstaff staff is often rude and ungrateful for a customers patronage. A polite«thank you» goes a long way. My disllike of this proprietor practices leans so high, I refuse to conduct my business their and opt to intentionally go out of my way to avoid it and drive several miles to competitors that are grateful my patronage. The community would be benefit from them closing and be replaced by a 7 – 11. At lest we can can expect way batter coffee. better selection and prices and less attitude.

A real mixed bag. Great bagels, as proven by the long lines every morning and especially weekends. BUT a dirty feeling place, with fair to questionable other foods(Just look at the salad cabinet — queasy here twice over the years when I risked the tuna and the chicken salad). The community is hopeful this place gets better managed because it could be a destination.

One star for inedible unrecognizable blob of oil of a? ‘toasted tuna melt’ that they couldn’t possibly ever eat themselves. Disgusting, blacchh. The foods in case looked crusty. Didn’t feel like discussing it on Sunday midday, they were super slow as it was. Just tossed it out. No respect.

I’ve been here twice, I got a grilled cheese with bacon, and it was good. I also got a chicken cutlet on a roll with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. I’d say I’d like the grilled cheese better than the chicken cutlet sandwich I had.

Great bagels. Every sandwich I have had here was so good, in that-morning bagel breakfast-, kind of way. However, the staff is not friendly and the coffee is awful. It’s possible they water it down to save money? I really don’t know but it’s a shame because this little place has a-lot of potential. It’s amazing how unfriendly service can totally change a consumers perspective.

From reading the other reviews about the cleanliness of this place, it makes me wonder about why I felt sick after eating from here. When I got home a few hours later I started feeling feverish. It’s gone now though, but hopefully it wasn’t related.

This place is filthy, the staff is unfriendly, bagels are decent. I stopped going here when one of the staff started coughing by the glass jars that held the ice coffee which they didn’t have lids on them.

Well I don’t live in NY any longer, but I’ve eaten some of the finest bagels on the planet when I lived there many years ago. The bagels at this little store in downtown Hartsdale are quite good, they smear on lots of CC, and their coffee is pretty decent. I am not going to speak of this place’s deli fare as when I want deli, I go to a DELI, not a bagel store to get it. those of you commenting on the quality of their chicken soup and other specific deli fare should smarten up and go get that stuff at a deli, and not expect high quality at a little bagel shop.

I do not write reviews often if at all. However, this place needs to be looked at more carefully. The bagels are delicious and there is a wide variety for the average end user. The main problem with Bagel’s and More is its awful, rude, and horribly unprofessional staff. I had an experience where a good looking girl went in front of the large line. When I confronted the gentlemen working behind the counter he told me «don’t worry about her.» I explained it is not right that there are about 15 people patiently waiting in line, the man was so rude after the fact that I ended up walking out. I have been going to Bagels and More for years. Every time I go the people who write up my orders charge me a different price, and when I ask for a receipt it just has the total value of the order. I hope that their business is negatively affected because of their rudeness, and poor math skills.

After reading the other reviews for this place, I agree with most people whole heartedly — yes, the service could be better. Do they forget my order sometimes? Yes. Do they seem completely overwhelmed and understaffed most of the time? Yes. However, the bagels are pretty darn delicious here. As for the«more», well yeah it could use a little work. The variety of both bagels and cream cheeses is pretty solid. There are also many toppings and add-ons to make your bagel a little more filling. The proximity of this place to the train station, Hartsdale and the neighborhood on Clubway pretty much ensures that this place is always crowded — especially on weekends! Sunday morning lines out the door are not uncommon! But that just speaks to the quality of bagel that comes from Bagels and More. Should you go out of your way for this place? Nah. But definitely give it a go if you’re close by and in the mood for a classic New York bagel.

Eh. I come here to get honey turkey once a week and so far, it’s been good. Recently noticed this store not too long ago and finally going in, I was happy to see that they did not only carry bagels/breakfast items, especially with Enrico’s being so close. Strolled in and out pretty quickly the last time but today(Sunday), it was a madhouse. The line was literally to the door however it did move pretty quickly for the amount of people that were there waiting. I ordered my beloved Boar’s Head honey turkey as well as a half of pound of cracked peppermill. I noticed that the guy weighed the meat this time around. I actually like that. Last week when I stopped in, the guy actually cut it by sight and though he sliced it extra thin to perfection, I jokingly mentioned something about him not weighing the final product. The pound of honey turkey was perfection however the cracked peppermill, which I noticed was not wrapped up in saran wrap in the display case was pretty dry. Based on the other reviews, I do think that this place can be a bit shotty but they are convenient and easily save me a trip to Shop Rite when all I really need is deli meat.

I honestly think the only reason why this deli is still in business is because it is the only one in the area and the people who live here don’t know any better! The food is tolerable at best. But I stopped eating their food after I got their chicken noodle soup and noticed they didn’t even clean and peel the carrots before putting them in! Dirty Chicken Noodle Soup, I wanted to gag. The service is horrible! They barely listen, they can’t take more than one order at a time otherwise they will mess it up. Even when it’s not busy, the employee act as if they are doing you a favor.

This is my weekend go to place for a bagel and coffee… or at least it used to be. Check your change — they skim off 15 to 25 cents each time. They’ll tell you that«it’s taxes» but if you give them EXACT change, then they won’t ask for the taxes. Shady. Oh, and if you pay by credit card they sometimes give you an attitude — probably because they can’t skim off your change. Aside from the stealing, the service is pretty rude. The last time I went I ordered a plain and everything bagel and I asked for them to be in separate bags — the guy took the brown paper bag in his hand and litterally threw it onto the counter in disgust because he now had to take out two smaller bags… oh boo-hoo for you. The bagels themselves are OK. If you get them while they are warm, they are much better. The creamcheese options are plentiful and reasonably priced. The coffee is OK. Frankly, I wouldn’t really eat anything else from this place. The set up and cleanliness is unappealing. I will not be back again and I will be sure to spread by word of mouth how terrible this place is. I’ll be going to the deli at the four corners from now on(even though that place isn’t that much better).

My review is mainly about the staff, the bagels are good, but I can’t go in there anymore, The last 3 times: burnt bagel; ordered turkey w/roasted red peppers-no peppers; paid for full size bagel-got mini-bagel. If you tell the staff, they laugh. i am through with this place until they hire new people. it’s to bad, i pass the place every day on my way home & to work. i will buy my bagels & sandwiches in manhattan, they are better & actually cheaper.

Solid bagel place, especially for Westchester. Service is attentive. Bagels are OK. Good weekend deals with bagel, cream cheese and lox.

This is a nice pit stop for some weekend bagels and schmear. The staff acts as though they’re doing YOU a favor by taking your money but the food is decent and the bagels are fresh. I always pick up a few bagels, lox and cream cheese for the family and eat heartily for a few days. They have a nice variety of bagels and spreads and you can sit in-/outside and enjoy your culinary treasure. Their sandwiches aren’t half bad either.

The staff is so unpleasant here that I had to stop going. Last year I had a particularly bad experience when one of the staff was incredibly rude because I paid by credit card(the store accepts them), and he went on and on about how it was Black Friday and things were busy. Sir, you work at a bagel store, not Macy’s…calm down.

You know it’s good when you stop by twice in a 3 day timeframe. The first time, I had turkey on a honey wheat bagel, with tomato and lettuce, light on the mayo. So simple and SOFRESH! I’ve never had turkey sliced that thinly. I enjoyed every bite of that bagel sammich and felt healthy too! Bagel break #2 was lox spread on an egg bagel. Savory, salmony, and slammin’! $ 3.16 well spent. P. S. Besides bagels, «more» refers to various juices and drinks, chips, candy, cookies, fish, muffins, and gelato.
