If I could write a review with ZERO STARS this place would get it! Outrageous! I have a terminal cat and the only reason I switched his care to this vet was because they were closer to our home. On our first visit we made it clear what our desires were for the plan of care for our cat. He is on prednisone for the rest of his life due to a brain tumor which causes horrible fits of biting (and boy do I have the scars to prove it). We made it clear that we don’t intend to proceed with any further treatments due to the cats age and because even if a $ 3000 MRI showed that he had a brain tumor, there would be no treatment other than the prednisone. So I called yesterday to get a refill of his prescription and I’m told they won’t refill it unless I pay for blood work ($ 65) to check his liver and kidney function. Apparently the prednisone can cause problems with that. Really??? He’s dying of a brain tumor. I could care less about his liver or kidney function. Of course, when I tell them that I’m not interested in the blood work, I’m informed that it’s a requirement to fill the script. That’s just extortion! Refusing the meds he needs because I don’t want to pay $ 65 for blood work he doesn’t need. One call to the old vet and I had a refill, no questions asked, not even an office visit. This vet is a rip-​off!!! Go to any other vet in the state of Michigan but here!
