First of all you should pay your employees enough money or offer them assistance as childcare as Michelle the server/cashiers’ child was all about the restaurant playing with the cups in the corner and distracting her in her work. The customer service at this location needs to amped up. I ordered a large stuffed crust chicken supreme with white sauce and bbq drizzle. The pizza came out to us and it was a regular large stuffed crust with marinara sauce no white sauce and no bbq. Which baffled me as she wrote my order on a pad and repeated it back to us and I confirmed. I then seen a gentleman walking by and explained to him this pizza was not what I had ordered. I explained to him what it should have been. He then goes away and comes back and wanted me to repeat what I had wanted Michelle then comes around and tells him she ordered the large stuffed crust chicken supreme with white sauce and bbq drizzle he then directs everything to me and tells me «what is white sauce? if you want white sauce you should tell us that you want garlic parmesan sauce» I couldn’t believe that he had the nerve to tell me how I should order my food. I then asked him isn’t that the only white sauce back there and he goes«I didn’t take your take order its not white sauce its garlic parmesan» I was appalled that he really wanted to go back and forth with that I told him I didn’t want the pizza and he had some nerve to tell me how I should order my pizza and I didn’t want it anymore to just charge me the cheese sticks I already ate. I explained to Michele who was again distracted by her child who was running around that I would appreciate it if she would write the guys name on the receipt which she did not do so I had to get back up and ask her for the mans name and she told me it was Marcos. I then asked if a manager was on duty and she says yes Tasha and I asked to speak. I explained to Tasha what had occurred and explained to her the issue with the pizza made incorrectly and I then told her there was no reason for Marcos to take it personally all her had to do was get the order from Michelle and remake the pizza there was no need to have had involved the customer as you can see that Michelle repeated to Marcos in front of me that she knew the order, they should have just discussed it amongst themselves and not come out and dispute with the customer on how they should order their pizza. I usually order online so I don’t know the correct lingo. I then asked Tasha«is there another white sauce back there?» and she too said that there is only one white sauce. So there was no reason for him to come out to me and belittle me on how I should order my pizza. She said there were faults in both Michelle and Marcos parts and she will discuss it with her RGM Gigi. Ended up going next door for my dinner. It frustrates me because I have never had an issue with this location and have ordered from here to my house before. My kids love the cheese sticks. But I think after Marcos’ outburst I will choose to stop elsewhere to pick it up all together.

What a disaster my last visit was… Mind you, I had been coming here since I was a kid and after they reopened the store again. But I couldn’t believe the service and food was here today. When we came in for dinner we were asked by one of the women there to feel free and sit where we’d like as there were only 2 other families there. I looked at the boothes to my right and saw the bench seat with a huge patch that made me shake my head. Another waitress then popped us into another section that shamelessly hid us in a corner. The pizza took forever and the appetizers as well. The pizza we ordered came about 45 minutes(!) and was in some parts still uncooked. I think they genuinely forgot about us and when called to attention hurriedly cooked. We complained and while the manager gave us a huge discount, they couldn’t stop talking about the other party coming in on reserve and them focusing their efforts for their arrival. They even moved a family to a different table to keep the party altogether. Ugh. I will stick to delivery from now on. Please, this might be an isolated incident because I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, so try them if you’d like to eat the pizza when its fully cooked.

Horrible with time! I ordered a pizza at lunch around 12:20pm & called & cancelled at 2:15pm because my pizza STILL hadn’t been delivered! I have no problem waiting 45 – 60 minutes for a pizza but almost 2 hours!!! NO!!!

My daughter and I was watching tv and a Pizza Hut commercial came on. My daughter mention she never their pizza before so I figured why not let’s try them out tonight. What a huge mistake! The star rating should be negative. I placed my order online and was given an Eta. After placing my order the restaurant called confirming my address because it was not on their map.(My house was built in 1968) I waited 5 past the Eta I was given and figure I call the driver to make sure he was not having problems finding my home. Micheal answered the phone and this is the conversation we had verbatim. Me: Hello this Mr Belin I am calling checking on the status of my order? Micheal(Pizza Hut staff): I DONTKNOWWHATLIESTHEYTOLDYOUONLINEBUTWEAREBUSY!!! Then he proceeded to hang the phone the phone up. I called back in disbelief again our conversation verbatim. Me: hello this is Mr Belin calling back. Did you really just hang the phone up while I was in mid sentence? Micheal(Pizza Hut staff): no maybe I put you on hold or something and the call got dropped. Me: who puts someone on hold and not ask for permission? That was very rude sir. Micheal(Pizza Hut staff): well we very busy tonight. Me: can I speak to a manager? Then he placed me on hold for several minutes. I didn’t get the shift manager name but the young lady offered an apology and stated she knew who the rude staffer was and said she would have a word with him. In the mean time the driver showed up at my door. Me: please keep your pizza I am canceling my order. Driver: why sir Me: because I refuse to patronize any company that does not value my business. Driver: sorry sir but we are really busy tonight. Me: being busy don’t not justify disrespect! I then proceeded to call their competitor who was able to make a seamless delivery within 20mins with a smile. I will never be ordering from Pizza Hut in east Hartford ever again.

I placed my order online and when I went to pick it up at 10pm the doors were locked. There sign and website clearly stated 11pm as there closing time. I was on the fence with all the poor reviews but after this I won’t bother with this Pizza Hut again.

I ordered the wings yesterday and even though it tasted funny I are it because I was hungry. Today, I woke up with a horrible stomach ache and went to the doctors and found out that I had food poisoning from the wings I ate. Horrible!!!

Not too long ago Pizza Hut was great. We were happy when silver lane opened back up after years of being closed. The buffet was always a good deal, although their pizza isn’t as good as Dominos now. Last time we went, however, we discovered that they no longer do the buffet. The interior has been updated, but not improved. Pizza Hut feels cheaper than ever. If you’re looking for dine-in pizza, try Roma’s instead.

so good but in such a bad way. you should never attempt to equate the slut to any real pizza joint, but after a rakish 1 year bday party and a box and half of wine(stay classy east hartford) you gotta take what you can at 930pm, alas roma was closed so lets go to the hut. we got something greasy, meaty and a crust full of something god never intended to put on the end of a pizza, and we loved it! i wont say this was a 5 star, nor a 1 star, but I will say that if i go another 8 years until i eat here again, id say thats about right on schedule. if you can help it, do, but if you cant, dont stop the urge. ps, pick up was 2x as fast as delivery(plus thats an extra 2 bucks!)

While the food was good, the service here is HORRIBLE! I’ve experienced this twice at the same location. 1st time I ordered online for pick-up more than an hour before I needed it. When I got there, food was not ready. Was told by manager wrong item was made and I had to wait over 15 minutes for my order. He gave me a $ 15 credit. I was happy — late but happy. Went back to use the credit. Had a lovely lunch and went to pay using credit(which I told server about when I sat down). Was told I cannot use credit for dine-in, only dine-out service. This is ridiculous!!! Manager/owner not in and manager on duty was HORRIBLE. I called numerous time to speak with the owner and have been hung up on and put on hold for 10 minutes(not during a busy time)… now I’m escalating to corporate! Food was fine(I’m a sucker for their pizza) but service sucks! Too bad Pizza Hut East Hartford doesn’t realize that in today’s economy people have choices for fast food, pizza and even other Pizza Huts within minutes of this location. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else!

Ordered online via I-Phone and was ready when I arrived 20mins later. .50cent wing Wednesday ordered 30 wings 3 different flavors and the new stuff crust pizza w/pepperoni, sausage, bacon and cheese stuff crust. We were surprised the wings were very good. Kids loved the pizza. Ok i thought it was good too. Everything was hot and fresh. This is not my favorite in the world that would N.Y. pizza. I also like real Greek and Itailian Pizza. But for the price point it’s the best value and most convenient. On Tuesday and Wednesdays. ;0)
