Wasn’t impressed & haven’t returned, plus for this small town the prices seemed kind of high. I get more food for less money elsewhere (and it’s way better). The food really wasn’t hot (temperature) and it should be served hot, at the very least. It was lacking seasoning, the chips were stale, etc.
Two of the things that any Mexican restaurant should know how to prepare — rice & beans — were both bland.

I was underwhelmed. The atmosphere is nice but the food was marginal. I was hoping for an authentic mexican experience and ordered chile rellenos. They were bland and greasy. No one in our party of three was impressed with the food. Save your money and go to La Perla!

Very clean and nice inside. Menu has authentic options (tongue and cactus). Chips and salsa complementary. Chips appear to be store bought but salsa was tasty.
For Hartford options this is place is a gem. Food was tasty.
4 stars since ear of corn on a stick as advertised didn’t appear as such.

Good food. Good portions. Nice updated, clean, open environment. Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. I had a pork burrito. Very good. Will return next time I’m in the area.
