Usually a 3 – 4 star place. Very consistent. Went in for a quick and reliable breakfast. Their hash browns are awesome. Sign in the window showed the Classic Breakfast for $ 4.99. Check came for $ 5.99. Told waitress about the $ 4.99 sign in the window. She just shrugged her shoulders and walked away toward other customers. Not worth causing a big scene over a buck. Still tipped her 20% because I am stupid. Bottom line… decent food, but good help is hard to find.

I’ve been to George webs and if you go during breakfast time it’s not too bad but in the dinner hours or late night is disgusting!
The employees all look nasty & smell like cigarettes! We had a waiter who took our order then went outside w/the waitress both sitting outside smoking-then she comes back in & brought our food reeking of smoke! Where is a responsible manager???
I wouldn’t go back there if you paid me! Oh, & you might want to ask for some hot water while your there to sanitize the silverware!
Waitress also needs to wear deodorant!

Was in Hartford today for work, and the guy at the Inn where I stayed said, try George Webb’s which is kind of like a diner, but there breakfast is really good. MMmmm. Breakfast it was, and yes, the breakfast was really good.
Had there strip steak special which came with a 10oz strip steak, hashbrowns, 2 eggs, and toast. Everything was really tasty, especially the steak! Coffee was real good as well. Would recommend if you are in the area!
Only thing I didnt like, and why they dont get that fifth star is because there was a big sign that said, NO SMOKING, yet the guy at the counter was all puffy one up… ugh…
