Love their pasta! I usually get the manicotti or stuffed shells. Everything is excellent. It is so easy to get to. All of the pasta is made fresh.

This place is great. I go probably twice a month and am never disappointed the sauces are all great and so are the fresh pastas

Difiores is my fresh pasta go to and I have been coming here for over 20 years. It’s exciting to see how they’re expanding and offering new and interesting options especially with their ravioli options. My Italian mother in law introduced me 30 years ago to their meat and cheese lasagna, swearing she couldn’t make it any better and how convenient! To this day, it’s the best lasagna! We used to order large trays for family gatherings but I just love the new take out serving size, perfect for 2. I keep one in the freezer and every month, stop in to buy a few along with some pasta products for ourselves and for my daughter who no longer lives close by but loves their pasta! The jumbo cheese ravioli are delish and the manicotti tender and flavorful. Recently I tried their arancine which were easy to reheat and quite good. I love this place and their fresh made products! I remember when the original owner and wife would wait on you. Now the shop is run by his son and grandson and has really expanded their offerings ! How nice to see this family tradition succeed, thrive and honor their grandfather!

Excellent ravioli gigante! We buy fresh pasta and prepared tomato sauce from here once a month or so. Best of all: they often run coupons in the Courant for free pasta!

It smells like a wet dog when you come in. Old people smell? I am not really sure there isn’t a lot to get for lunch almost everything is heat up or made to cook unless you want pizza. Pretty sure no one here was italian. Still the pre-made microwave meals were good, I still would have liked to get hot for lunch instead of microwaving. A little pricey on the salads and microwave meals both will run you around $ 10/EA, woman at the register acted like she had never rung anything up before but maybe she was new. Pizza made here by the slice but looks like it has been sitting out for days. Would get their homemade pasta to go now and again.

I’ve been missing out! I’ve lived in Hartford my entire life and I’ve just tried DiFiore’s food for the first time. One word. Amazing. The chicken cutlets are delicious, tried a cannoli loved it. I got a box of 2 dozen cheese raviolis super simple to make, I broke them apart and boiled them for exactly 8 minutes then I threw some vodka sauce I got from DiFiore’s on top and it was amazing. Best vodka sauce I’ve ever had and I’ve tried quite a few from other places. My very picky 4 year old nephew cleaned his plate, he loved it. I can’t wait to try the stuffed shells and gelato!

I came here last month to try their ravioli, pasta and sauce since I have known about this place and never had anything from there until now. I bought marinara sauce, jumbo cheese ravioli and their homemade rigatoni. Their sauce is excellent, the ravioli was good and very filling and the rigatoni was lousy. I might return again someday.

The only thing I’ve tried is the ravioli and the sauces, but they’re incredible! Homemade and beyond delicious. Everyone who I’ve interacted worth is very friendly and knowledgeable. This place is a true gem in Connecticut and I hope they’re in business for many decades to come.

Even more choices! Italian gelati has been added(don’t miss the lemon, best ever!), expanded heat and service foods, new ravioli stuffing. This is a gem! Do not miss this fantastic pasta and gourmet Italian shop! Worth the drive from anywhere!

Never again! I bought a savers discount($ 10 for $ 20) I tried the stuffed portobellos and threw up. Then I tried the eggplant rolantini and it was so dried out I choked, I have yet to try the chicken cutlets but I think I’ll wait for another day. No wonder they give out the free pasta.

First Time customer. I just served the homemade meat raviolis with the marinara sauce and a loaf of bread(from this store) and it was outstanding! I am very fussy and I would use the raviolis when I have company or a party cause I would«wow» away my Italian friends… not to mention how easy it would be to prepare this meal for guests. No effort. Prices are fair and the quality of the product is amazing. Convenient. Lots of parking. Keep up the great job! MJR

Stopped by this little gem for the first time today. Really glad I did. Homemade pasta & ravioli, tons of different kinds. 5 $ for a dozen plain cheese ravioli, prices rise from there according to fillings.(Walnut gorgonzola? Eggplant? Spinach? Lobster? yes please.) Bread delivered daily from an Italian bakery in the Bronx(delicious). Mozzarella braids made in New Haven for here especially. Different types of herbed vinegar and olive oil. Amicable owner gave us fig vinegar samples — weird to sample but super tasty! Also, homemade gelato — omg. The pistachio one we sampled was incredible — super fresh, the owner says they have to make more approximately ever two days because it’s so popular. Got a head of roasted garlic for a dollar. They have cheese filled pasta shells. Very wonderful. Glad we made it over here.

I make infrequent visits to Little Italy section of Hartford, but when I do, I always make a stop at DiFiore Pasta to pick-up some rolls, bread and fresh pasta. Addendum: On my most recent visit, I skipped the rolls and bread because they are now using a different baker.

Oh, this place is WONDERFUL! Shocked no one has Unilocaled it yet! Great homemade pastas, sauces, and various specialty Italian items! Also, freshly made(then frozen) prepared foods… All very fresh tasting, and I have never had a complaint to anyone I served it to! In fact, always get raves! My favorite pasta shop on Franklin… aka Little Italy!
