A decent small town library, but run by a lady with draconian rules. I basically try never to darken their door. When she retires, i may try it agian.

The Hart Public Library is a nice modern facility on State Street in downtown Hart. The new building was built in 2003. We have a place on Old Michigan near Silver Lake and we come to Hart at least once every weekend in the summer. Recently when our internet was dead at the lake, we sat in the parking lot of the Hart Library with our laptops and rode the WiFi. The library a great resource in this small town, and if you ask me, a shining example of what government does best.

For a small town library — the Hart Library is exceptional. Beautiful new building and competent service and a caring administrtion. A bright spot in Hart.
