I took my car to this place when it broke down in 291 because 1. It was very close to tow the car to, and 2. We got recommendations to take my car to this guy. My timing belt broke, and the guy basically had put in new head gaskets and repair half the engine. 40,000 miles later… I’m having leaks and I’ve taken it to a guy that a family friend’s dad recommended. He told me that I needed to call the guy at Cox because there are some things that were under warranty and the guy could get reimbursed for doing the work again. They guy at Cox did not want to do it. And now we know why. He didn’t change spark plugs and various other things like he should have, and basically ripped my mom and I off by taking $ 1500! So much for a «good olé boy». You would think that an older gentleman who has owned a shop for a while would be trustworthy… But lot this guy! Do NOT take your car here!
