The meat was middle of the road and none in our group liked the patato salad or beans. I will say the sauce was pretty good but the prices are way too high for mediocre BBQ.

I love this place. I tell anyone who asks that they have the best burnt ends in Kansas City! They also have really yummy Cole slaw. I’ve eaten here since I was little and its still amazing. I wish they still had the apple dessert things but the company stopped making them. The only thing that sucks is the price.

Arrived at 7:00PM on Friday night. It took twenty minute’s to order drinks, not a good start and it only went down hill from there. Our waitress could not get our order right, I had to repeat it over and over and she still got it wrong. It took forever to get our food, right at 45 minute’s. The food was cold it appeared to have been in the window for a while. First and last time going there. I had read the reviews before going so it sounded like it would be a hit. NOT the pit beans had to the worst I have ever had.

Really good bbq ribs, excellent coleslaw & the onion tumbleweeds are delicious. If you like dry-rub ribs, I recommend this place. Good service, good food.

One of the best restraunts in Harrisonville… Beans, and Cole slaw are very good. Burnt ends are fantastic! We mostly order the carry out platter, it is a ton of food and your choice of 4 meats and 3 sides. Their sliced ham turkey and brisket is our favorite!

Taking into consideration all the BBQ’s in KC, the Branding Iron’s the best even though it’s in Harrisonville. The burnt ends are the best I’ve ever had, the beans are pit cooked, full of meat, not too sweet and delicious, best ribs and brisket in KC with a nice smoke ring, tender and moist but not mushy. Their hot sauce is very unique and not sweet, my favorite BBQ sauce of all time. The service is excellent and my ice tea glass never gets below ½ full. Prices are very reasonable especially for how outstanding the BBQ is!

We had the ultimate platter, and it was excellent. A lot of food for $ 55. This could easily feed 6 people. My husband is picky with bbq and he loved it.

Ordered the 8 rlb dinner with Cole slaw and potato salad as my sides. Meat was fall off the bone and very meaty. Flavor was not smoked enough for my liking. So had to add some BBQ sauce. Sides OK. Would have to say this is between a 3 and 4 star bbq place. This place falls somewhere in the middle.

Loved it! I’m an over the road truck driver and I’ve had some decent barbeque in my travels and this place is in the Top 5. I had the Poor Cowboy Sandwich. That sandwich alone will make me come back whenever I’m in the area.

The restaurant was all around amazing, with great service, excellent food, and a nice setting. The baked beans had a great smokey flavor and the waitress was also very friendly. To top it off, their home-made barbecue sauce brought it home for Branding Iron Barbecue. Another cool positive was the wait staff utilizing iPad order entry and ability to pay at the table via a card reader on the iPad.

I’m going four stars based on one sandwich. .. the pulled pork. The meat is BBQ perfection. Too much pulled pork is over smoked and shredded too finely. Branding Iron’s pulled pork is smokey but left with a great chunky texture. I’ve probably eaten a few hundred pork butts in my life, and Branding Iron’s pulled pork is as good as any I’ve ever had.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Good food, good waitstaff, and overall good place to eat some BBQ. I was skeptical about this place and their quality of BBQ, being from Texas. But, this was delish! I recommend trying this place if you’re ever in the area.

We enjoyed this place. The servings were huge. The waiter had an amazing memory and took orders from our party of seven without writing anything down, yet served each of us exactly what we ordered. I enjoyed my burnt ends; hubby’s ribs were tasty, but a little dry. Still, we would go back.

We were searching for a restaurant on a road trip at 7:30 pm, and saw this place from the road. Two couples were standing in front, so we asked if it was a good restaurant, and they said«Well, we’re not from around here, but we just ate there and everything was spectacular!» So in we went. Super nice server and a great menu! Our party is from Houston and New Jersey, so only some of us knew what burnt ends and onion claws are. We ordered ribs, cole slaw, deepfried jalapenos and onions, fries, barbequed turkey, ham and brisket, and Texas toast. Absolutely everything was fabulously fresh, juicy, and smoked beautifully. The ribs were to die for and the other couples loved the burnt ends. Too bad we were too full for dessert. The portions were quite large. We were asked several times by various hosts how our meal was. Nice people, great food makes the ambiance here.
