What a joke. I bought a living social deal for duct cleaning. Upon his arrival, he glanced at the top of a few vents and proceeded to the basement to check the furnace. I told him we are getting ready to sell and we have pets. Dollar signs are apparently what he heard. He got really nosey asking what I’d be selling for because he knows the builder personally.
He would not honor my living social deal claiming he HAD to do another long list of things, costing me $ 500. I called my husband for his thoughts and was told no. I told the man we would be denying his service and he laughed and said that was fine because he owns 23 around the country. I told him my husband would clean the vents and he told me it was impossible. As he was leaving he said when I go to sell, to call him because we won’t pass an inspection.
There is no need to be rude.
