Walmart Supercenter

There are a couple times when this store saved my hungry stomach. Studying at the library until the am time gets you tired and hungry. I came here a few times when I needed some walking and buy a snack.
This store does not have a very good selection of produce. The items are not that bad though.
There are a ton of cheap things like donuts, pies, cookies, and junk food here. I don’t like how big companies make so much money selling unhealthy things to people, but it’s also the person who falls into the trap of getting it.
It is 24 hours so that is a plus, but there are so few workers. They need to make more self checkouts open during the night. The attendant at the seller checkout is not nice at all!
Some of the aisles are super unorganized, I expect to find something in a particular aisle but I have to go two away to find it.
There is a McDonald’s and a hair salon in this walmart.
Bike parking available too.
Next to Payless and Home Depot.

This store gets negative stars for me. The employee at that ran my order was explicitly hateful towards me due to the company I was with. She judged my colleague based on her clothes which is extremely hateful and ignorant. She didn’t help my colleague Until finishing her conversation with another indivisible making my colleague wait because of her ignorance towards her difference in culture. She didn’t greet her nor did she thank her and looked at her with distaste. I’m appalled by the employees that Walmart hires. Everyone is a paying customer and everyone deserves respect.
This is terrible for Walmart and shows what kind of people they hire. I will not be visiting any more Walmart. I’m definitely reaching out to someone higher. It’s unacceptable.

Walmart is the worst! This one always has filthy bathrooms, their produce is a joke, and their employees are shit. The last time I went to this Walmart was about 5 years ago and the cashier threw my groceries into the shopping bags. I told another associate about the incident and she shrugged her shoulder like she could have cared less. I pay extra at Kroger and martins when I want groceries.

its Walmart what can you say… I did score some really cute shoes on sale that I had seen at another Walmart in NC, so I was happy.
Downside they stop selling beer & wine at midnight (now if they had ore that 2 lines open it would have been before midnight… LOL). So the next day the cashier wanted to card everyone in the group not just the person buying beer & wine that was not under 40… wtf… legal drinking age is 21, not sure if its because the JMU is across the street, but it is also a resort town & the person buying the wine was of age, so why should it matter. I did not show my ID & I gave her the side eye…

This Wal-​Mart was built right before my senior year at JMU, and now, I have to admit, the only thing I shop for there now is tailgating supplies. But in all my time at JMU, I always went to this store and was always able to find what I was looking for. One of the largest most well-​stocked Wal-​Marts I’ve ever been to.
