Vintage Wines

Not at all impressed by vintage wines. I decided to mix up my usual wine buying experience and chose to check out vintage wines. Upon entering the store my presence wasn’t even acknowledge. No «how are you? Can I help you?» The craft beer selection was decent but I was offered no help as I perused the store several times while looking at the wine. When I finally made my way up to the register to check out, the person working the register actually walked away to help someone that walked in the door and checked them out in front of me. I will not be returning and I will be sure to share my experience with friends and colleagues. My husband and I are avid beer and wine enthusiasts and would be very loyal in returning but not after the 15 minutes I experienced today. Better customer service would go a long way in improving this place.

THE BEST BEER SHOP IN HARRISONBURG. I don’t go for the wine, I go for the Belgian Ales. And let me tell you what, they have quite a selection. The owner/​manager knows his stuff. Anything you want to know, from pairing, to tastes, to how to serve it, he knows. The selection is huge. I’ve had so many great beers from this place, and it affordable. I LOVE THIS PLACE. I can’t stress it enough. I will definitely be sad when I graduate and leave Harrisonburg.

wonderful, small selection of craft brews for a wine shop in the middle of Virginia. although there prices are at least $ 2 dollars more than other places i’ve frequented, the very friendly service and knowledgeable employees cannot be beat. if your around harrisonburg and are craving some craft brews, stop by.

I really, really like this place.
The Good:
First and foremost, they divide their wines not by where they come from, or what grapes are used, but by types of taste. This is awesome because I might know I want a fruitier red, not necessarily which exact region I want my red from. The staff is extremely helpful and will give you truly good advice. When I went, they recommended a bottle cheaper than the one I was looking at based on what I told them my preferences are!

Go here to talk to some interesting people and wine enthusiasts. They will help you find the wines you are looking for and (more importantly to me) give you good recommendations on new wines to try! The service is impeccable :)
