Comfort Inn

The place looks good in the photos but my room had a lot of issues. The door would not quite close by itself and the fold over latch was not aligned properly. There was a lot of peeling wall paper in my room ass well. Breakfast was very disappointing too. It was obvious that premise cheese omelet and sausage patties were being saved at the end of one day and used more than one day… Place was pretty gross…

Rugs filthy, had to put towels down. Nice outdoor pool area. Room smelled a bit. Please either take out the rugs or clean them. Nice at desk.

Great little motel, pet friendly, updated bath and clean room and beds. Helpful and courteous staff. Got breakfast including a make your own waffle set up. Great value for $ 85 last minute! Only two stories, plenty of parking, near several restaurants (walkable) and fast food. Right off 81 with easy access at a stop light.

This is my go-​to stop when travelling to or from the Northeast via I-​81. I’ve never had a room that wasn’t clean and comfortable. I really love that many of the rooms have a microwave/​fridge — although I did have two over the years that just had a fridge. Yes, it’s an older hotel and yes, it could do with an upgrade, but you cannot beat the value.
The mall across the street also has a good bagel place! Plenty of shopping conveniently located (though not really walkable).
The Wifi, however, was problematic, and when I called the desk, the young woman who answered patiently explained to me how to log on. I didn’t bother telling her how many nights a year I spend in hotels; I just ended up tethering my phone. I think it must have needed a reboot or something, though, because next morning it was fine.
Great value for the money.

Clean, comfortable, and convenient to I-​81 and Harrisonburg’s main attractions. Staff members are outgoing and professional. I had forgotten my iPhone charger at home, and the front desk had a spare I could borrow, to charge up before checking out! Rooms are spacious and contain a micro/​fridge combination — wish more hotels had this feature.
Standard toiletries include some welcome additions, such as a shoe shine cloth. Great shower, with strong water pressure and consistent temperature. Hotel was recently renovated and contains a spacious breakfast room with abundant seating. Plentiful parking as well, and lot is well lit. I will definitely return to the Comfort Inn Harrisonburg!

Hotel seemed clean on the surface, but upon further inspection we found ants all around the refrigerator and in the bathroom. The bed was extremely uncomfortable.
