Such a cool place! Loved playing with my niece here on the impressive set up. The playground is well maintained and even has tables set up in the shade. I was impressed to see a facility where handicapped kids can play can play and even swing in a wheelchair too!

Expecting to enjoy some time at the park with my kids… instead it was a nightmare. Caretaker decides too put up a sprinkler in the mulch, slides are covered in mud and mulch. Side walks are wet slippery painted brick… toddlers falling and crying. My kids fell on the park equipment which was wet metal. All the benches were soaked leaving no where to sit and watch my 3 elementary age children(might i add the benches were soaked not because of the children but because of the idiot who put the sprinkler spraying directly on them even tho people were already sitting there. On there cell phones.)…guy soaked my cell phone twice even tho I kept moving away… some poor old lady had her umbrella out trying to keep dry. …Best part my family donated lots of money to build this park FORHANDICAPPEDCHILDREN which cant even come here because the water would ruin their equipment. So dissapointed!

LOVELOVELOVE this park!!! There are many different structures for the kids to play on, swings, a bike track, and other fun little things for them to expend energy! We got often in the summer months and always enjoy it! Oh and it is handicap accessible!

Do you have a kid? Are they able to walk around on their own? It is nice outside? Get out to A Dream Come True Playground and make some memories! I had the good fortune of finding this place online and met up with my sister and nephew on a gorgeous fall Friday afternoon. With separate areas for different age groups, my three-year-old nephew explored it all. Highlights include the entryway rock with animal sounds, multicolored slides and tables for a picnic. Yes, there are bathrooms. A big THANKYOU to the Girl Scouts who imagined the possibilities with this place and saw it through. This playground is an excellent example of why Harrisonburg is an excellent place to raise a family.

On vacation, this is great stop for our three and five year olds. This is definitely the nicest public park we have ever visited though we have seen one or two close seconds. One real nice and unique feature is a little winding path for little bicyclers. It is new so no shade trees grown yet.

Went here with my almost-three-year-old early Sunday morning. The place was empty(aside from the caretaker). Glad to see that they have someone there, even on weekends, cleaning, emptying trash, etc. This park is great, though is starting to show wear already after just a year or two of opening. They’ll have to put regular money into it to keep it up! That aside, this playground is huge and diverse and great! Very interactive and lots of variety. I love the ‘roads’ that kids can ride their trikes on. Place has a decent sized parking lot and nice, clean restrooms.

What am amazing park. Stumbled on it because a nearby water park had 3 hour wait and I had two very sad. 5 year olds looking at me. Tons of fun play things and plenty of places to have a picnic with the family, and let the kiddies run around.) okay — after the digest!). Really amazing free park! Check it out.

Amazingly clean and has a wide range of age appropriate climbing structures for children. Very fun playground. It also has picnic tables and clean restrooms. The adults can lounge around at the tables or relax on the double swing.

This is an incredible playground that has something for everyone — truly. It is entirely accessible(as far as I can tell, we didn’t stay terribly long) and has a soft, cushy surface to help children who fall. My kids adored it. We’d go back in a heartbeat if we lived near there, but it was just a stop along the way for us on a long trip.
