Rotisserie is super cheap and tastes amazing. I have gone there multiple times and never had bad food. It’s kind of an eyesore but looks are deceiving. And at times there machine doesn’t work so you have to have cash. But the food is worth the hassle.

This is my third time eating here during my meal break. Wow! Good eats! I usually get either the shrimp Ceviche or Ceviche de Mariscos which was the best I had in a very long time since I was kid staying at my grandparents in South America. Phenomenal! I don’t eat seafood just anywhere either, but here– anytime! Seafood is very hard to pull off and make it flavorful if you all me. And if you ask them to make your food extra spicy hot, they will oblige you, and it comes out perfect! Que rico! Today I had them make me a Saltado de Pechuga without the fries, which is not on the menu, but I asked them to do it, and I asked them to make it extra hot– omg, perfection in a dish! YUMMY! Too bad I’m working, a draft beer would have gone nicely with this dish and rice. I’ll definitely be back here again! P. s. just found out that the draft beer doesn’t work, but they still have bottled beer and nice selection of liquor. Definitely should not be a deal breaker since the food is so banging! P. s. My bad! This is the restaurant in Kearny that I was reviewing, but don’t fret, they’re both owned by the same family and from what I heard, the food is excellent at both places! The address here is 307 Kearny Ave. Kearny, NJ

Wow — talk about an under-rated place! Where else can you get an ENTIRE rotisserie chicken, rice(or FF) and a salad for $ 12.99? NOWHERE! I frequently get take out from here on my way home from work, and the delicious, perfectly-seasoned chicken is ready for me when I arrive! Sometimes the people answering the phone have spotty English, but be patient. It is worth it!

Surprised nobody has reviewed this place, as its on a major thoroughfare in Harrison, a seven minute walk from the PATH station. The place is bare bones as far as ambiance goes but the menu is comprehensive, service is prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable, portions quite large, and prices inexpensive. Went in for the ‘pollo a la brassa’ as it seems to be their signature dish. Had the half-chicken with French fries and rice. Let me again stress that the portions are quite large, I could have done well with the quarter-chicken. The chicken itself is very tasty; well seasoned, tender, and comes off the bone easily. My one request would have been to cook it a tad but longer to get the skin a little crispier. I didn’t really care for the green sauce(don’t know the name) as it was more a dairy-based and therefore too rich and creamy, overpowering the flavorful, moist, delicious chicken. More on the chili and less dairy would really compliment the chicken. Fries good and plentiful; rice also tasty. Fried bananas very good; nicely caramelized and pleasantly sweet. $ 23 for two including tax and tip. Very hard to beat this. BYOB.
