Colton’s Steak House & Grill

This place was terrible. Country music blasting, I asked the waitress to seat us as far away from speaker as possible and she sat us right under one. fries we’re soggie and so salty I couldn’t eat them, burger was as bad, burnt bacon and cold party. Burger also tasted like freezer burn and plastic.

The people that work here are the BEST! Our host seated us immediately at 6pm on a Saturday. Although it was busy, Shelby filled in for our server, also Shelby, and got our drinks out right away. The rolls melted in our mouths, the salad was fresh, crisp and delicious! Our dinners were even better! I had the Del Rio Ribeye… I would recommend this seasoning on ANY cut of meat! And the green beans were so fresh, cooked slightly, and yummy! Highly recommended!

Blooming onion is awesome! My steak was great. Probably the best steak place in Harrison. However I would go to Branson to get a good steak.

Food was pretty good, but it smells like a dumpster in here. Not sure why, but it’s pretty bad.

The reason it gets 2 stars is the people there are really nice if it was based on the food it would be 1. The food is really plane we have eaten here a few times and always ate something different giving the benefit of doubt but will not be back. Pick another place in town not that many but somewhere else.

Our steaks have always been the kind with NO gristle or fat, just tender juicy beef. Don’t know how they get ‘em so tender but they’ve always been fantastic. We asked for «medium» and it came to us with brown on the outside and about the same pink in the middle as the line of brown on one of the outsides. They have a bucket of peanuts in the shell on each table, with an empty bucket to throw the shells into. Waitress was quick and efficient; with our steak meal, we got a nice salad that arrived first to eat while we waited, and one side … we got french fries.

Went there at 9 pm after our best friends got married. Our server, Rebecca, was excellent! We informed her of the bride and groom and she went out of her way to take good care of us, as did the entire staff! Food was excellent for the price. The staff all came over to announce the bride and groom and presented a dessert on the house! Our friends were delighted. Fried shrimp and the grilled shrimp were excellent. Great salad and rolls. Would definitely go back if we’re in the area!

The Montana burger was most excellent, cooked to a perfect medium, and the server was very pleasant and efficient. If you haven’t been here, give it a try!

Went for mid afternoon meal. Had not been there before. Service was slow. Food was very good once we got it. Waitress would no do any substitutions on the entre. Salads are extra and drinks are expensive.

Clean facility with friendly staff. The smashed potatoes were wonderful. Steak didn’t have much flavor.

My boyfriend and I went there last night as it’s the only sit down place in Harrison we know of and we didn’t want to drive to Branson. Now I wish we would’ve grab a snack and gone to Branson. Well our waitress was poor, but we got the vibe that she was new and flustered to be working on such a busy night so we tried to cut her some slack. But there was no slack for the over cooked and poor quality of my boyfriend’s steak or the fact that my mashpotatoes were cold when I got them. Neither of us our the type to fuss and it was our annivorsy so we were just trying to stay positive but we won’t be going back there for awhile. If it all.
Only positive things I could say is the bread is very yummy and the fried pickles passed my very high standards.

Ordered a steak salad, cooked medium. It came out well done 1^st time, overly raw 2^nd time, and well done the 3^rd. The last time the cook came out to hand it to me and admitted it wasn’t medium. I told them to not bother a 4^th time. Went home hungry but was with a large group so couldn’t leave. I bought appetizer for table and paid for it, 1 glass of wine and the side of okra. Felt like I didn’t get my money’s worth as they should have comped the okra too in the least.
Others said their steak was just ok. I think a steak house should in the lease be able to properly cook a steak.

Not much on this highway beyond the fast food joints. It was between this place and a Western Sizzlin or something like it but it was a buffet. Hubbie was more than happy to honor my wishes to avoid a buffet (he likes them, I hate them) and hit a sit down spot.
This was the 3^rd place I got a filet on my roadtrip to Branson and it was good. More medium than rare, but tender and tasty. Hubbie enjoyed his steak as well.
