Good service, food and drinks. We ordered three tasting menus and one à la carte. By the third course, we were all stuffed. Waiter was very attentive and brought us complementary croquettes and blueberry sorbet. Fine attention to detail and produce quality for a very reasonable price. Planning to return soon to try their lunch menu.

YES! When it comes to Mediterranean, we like to do it in meze style. It took me a couple of visits to warm up to the menu style here, but I am officially sold. We always do the price fixe these days because it really is the best value. Portions of the 1st and 2nd courses are really too small to treat as true meze and to order what you’d need to be full would be a bit cost prohibitive. If you do their fixed menu, you won’t be disappointed. Fresh, seasonal, local with a few menu staples, but also consistent variation making for a fresh experience every time. The staff here is WONDERFUL. Chris, Tommy, and Tony have all gotten to know us as we have become regulars and it adds to the delightful experience. Sidewalk seating, weather permitting. Make a reservation because it fills up quickly. The meze plate is a terrific value, the lemon potatoes and ricotta gnudi are magical, and the quinoa rice pudding and house made gelato are not to be missed.

Great restaurant. Went as 4 people and did the 3 courses for 45(which, including dessert, was a great deal). Really liked everything especially the dips and bread. The waiter said the portions were small but we all disagreed and left very full. Terrific service. Feels«city» but still relaxing and comfortable.

Expensive but not bad. For Harrison very limited upscale restaurants. Baklava good. Expensive.

We had a drink at the craftsman ale down the street while we waited for our table. Love the brick wall, lighting, and ambiance. The co owner is really friendly. We ordered the 3 course tasting menu. I liked the scallops crudo, ricotta cheese gnudi, and the whole Porgi with Israeli couscous and Bok choy. My wife liked the wagyu burger and potato coquettes. The eggplant dip was a little too spicy We were really full by the end of the meal and needed to take out desserts to go. Will definitely go back again.

Great place to eat. Reservations recommended. Good was great. Had the price fixed menu which is a great value. Started with baby scallops which were so fresh. The potato croquettes were absolutely tasty. The steak was cooked perfectly and the brownie was a perfect end. Great wine selection as well come visit.

Stop #3 on the LoHud Food Crawl and the best stop so far. Greeted the moment we walked through the door and the great service never waived. Now, let’s talk about the food — so great! Started with a lovely pork terrine with whole grain mustard(ate it all and I normally don’t eat pork.). Next up was pork belly, not a fan of fatty pork but the presentation was great and the fat was cut with a well balanced vinaigrette. The food and service were excellent and I will definitely be coming back. If you are in, or blowing by, Harrison you should too.

Great find! Small boutique restaurant with Mediterranean flavor. Super friendly host and waitstaff. They had restaurant week prix fixe menu, which we took advantage of, was $ 29 for three courses, can’t beat that. Nice dry French white wine was $ 15 a glass, but only $ 30 for the bottle! So we got the bottle, and it’s like getting four glasses for the price of two. We shared Kale Ceasar salad, and mixed fish fry, both were Delicious. My wife had Steak with Yuka steak fries, and I had short rib raviolis. We eat at a lot of nice places, and this was right up there. 273 Kitchen is a real find!

This restaurant was recommended to me so many times that I had to try it and am so glad I did! Food: Mostly good, with a few misses — I read the NY Times review before going, which said the food could be hit or miss… four of us went out to eat so we got to try quite a few things. Salmon tartare was inedible, but when we mentioned it to the waiter, the maitre’d sent out two plates on the house — the house-made gravlox and the potato croquettes, both of which were perfect. My pork belly course was excellent, but my mushroom ravioli entrée was not quite as good. The filling was good but the pasta was too doughy. For dessert we shared the panna cotta — delicious panna cotta, but the little profiteroles that came with it were stale. Service: Again, good but not great — the waiter seemed a little nervous. I have no specific complaints about the waitstaff, but at that price point I just felt like they could have stepped up their game a bit. The maitre’d(maybe the manager? Tall and blond) was great — very at ease and took excellent care of us. Sent out a round of champagne and an extra dessert when they figured out we were there for a birthday dinner. Atmosphere: loved the ambiance and the décor. Nothing to complain about — they did a great job! Things weren’t perfect, but a new restaurant always has kinks to work out — I’d definitely go back!

It’s not often one can say, unless they have a ton of money, that they truly have had an amazing dining experience. We all have our favorite places, but they are usually our local go to joints. Kitchen 237 somehow hits the hybrid of both, where it can be a local(to Westchester), affordable meal, while also being an amazing experience. My wife, daughter, and I visited on January 7th and were able to make a reservation earlier in the day for that evening. My guess is that it being a Sunday and with pending snow allowed us to get in with ease. Upon arrival, the maitre’d already had our table prepared. Even though my daughter is only 2, they were very welcoming of her, and had no qualms of of someone her age in the fine dining establishment. But on to important stuff… the food. You can order what you want, but for the real experience, I urge you to do the $ 45 tasting menu… so worth it. Upon our ordering, the maitre’d came over to have us sample some wine choices based on what we ordered. His choices were spot on for my wife and I. Not pushy at all, and seemed willing to let us try whatever until we found something we liked, although his first guesses were accurate. First Course: Wife: Sweet Potato Soup — Sweet, but not cloyingly sweet. Good balance for the dish Me: Red Snapper Crudo — I usually do not enjoy fish prepared in this manner, but it was simply amazing. The fish was balanced with both citrus and a little heat from some spices. The touches of fresh olive oil and dill made it the flavors stand out even more. *Warm Garlic Bread was also served. *At this point we were brought a beet salad by the kitchen on the house. We are not beet people, but it was still quite tasty. Second Course: Wife — Ricotta Dumplings w/truffle — Not what I was personally expecting at all. I thought it would be on the sweeter side from appearance, but was definitely more savory. Cheese on top added a nice touch of natural salt to the dish. Me — 10 Hour Braised Pork Belly — Never will have this any other way again: Melt in your mouth good. Actually would have preferred more sweet potato than the cous cous around it, but now I’m just reaching. Third Course: Wife — Organic Chicken — Five Words: «Melt off the bone chicken.» You can imagine the rest. Me — Fish of the Day, which was a filleted(you could have had it whole) Black Bass. By far the best prepared piece of fish I have tasted in my entire life. Maybe I just haven’t been exposed to enough Manhattan Michelin restaurants, but there is no way that this dish couldn’t rival anything anywhere else. Perfect portion size. *Quick Aside — The menu does seem to change daily, but the one constant throughout the meal is that the Mediterranean feel was in almost each dish. No fears of dill and/or olive oil. Dessert(which is included in the tasting menu) Wife: Vanilla Panna cotta with orange — She liked it. Not bad to me, but this isn’t my usual go to choice for dessert. She also had a nice herbal mint tea that she loved. Me — Quinoa Rice Pudding — Was full after dinner, and should not have finished this, but there is no way you can waste it’s goodness. The honey, orange peel, cinnamon, and warmth just make it so good. Share — Chocolate pot de crème — Very good. Rich and flavorful. Daughter — Vanilla Gelato — Considering she inhaled the spoon, enough said. The open kitchen makes the experience even cooler as you see everything being prepared before your eyes. The wait between courses is minimal, but yet proper. It stinks that we live on Long Island and that Kitchen 237 is about 50 minutes away. However, we intend on being back, and if you live closer than us, I truly suggest you try this out! Once the word truly gets out about this gem, good luck trying to get a table in there because its going to be packed all the time. ***Visited again on 2÷19÷16. Still just absolutely amazing. Can add that we tried a Tuna 2nd course that was just lightly seared. Out of this world dish. Might have even been better than the bass mentioned in the last review. Keep up the awesome job!!!

Love this place! Hidden little gem with incredible dishes! The menu has a Mediterranean vibe using only fresh ingredients. We ordered pretty much one of everything for the table and each dish came out lightning fast. There wasn’t one I regret tasting. Definitely save room for dessert, their brownie is killer!!! Not too sweet yet perfectly decadent

5 stars well deserved! Service, food, drink all great. Me and my boyfriend both went for the tasting menu and shared. We were both really full and satisfied before dessert. Favorites: 1) Meat & Cheese plate– huge fan of cured meats, but these are on another level! Such rich flavors including the sliced pickle. 2) Sirloin steak– medium rare was closer to medium but the seasoning and quality of the meat are so amazing I couldn’t care less. I also opted for the market vegetables rather than the fries and was happy with it 3) Blue cheese & honey dessert– different than the blue cheese that was featured on the meat & cheese plate Still good, but next time will pass on: 1) Oysters: seemed fresh, but the cabbage vinegar that came on top of each oyster completely overpowered the oyster itself. I like to actually taste oysters so this was a bit disappointing. 2) 10 hour pork belly: great texture, but nothing more Also wine list is very reasonable for bottle pricing. Most of all, love how small the space is and how it’s completely down to earth.

Oh my, oh my! It was the last night of my time off from work and incidentally, also my birthday. Hubbs and I just got back from our couples massage and I was a little hungry. While trying to decide where to go for din, I checked Unilocal and 273 Kitchen was on the list of potential places. The rating, food pix and reviews looked promising and when I saw that they’re located in Harrison, I thought this must be a mistake. I don’t recall ever seeing a restaurant of this caliper in Harrison. They’re farm-to-table, changing their menu, nightly. All we had to go by were the pictures of the food and all the raving Unilocalers. This was where I wanted to go. I immediately called up for a reservation because the dining room holds less that 25 tables and I wanted to make sure we didn’t waste a trip. We got our table and headed to Harrison. They have an open kitchen sharing the dining area, so upon entry, we were hit in the face with all the wonderful scents. We grabbed a table near the kitchen and checked the place out. The décor is awesome. I love industrial style with exposed pipes, reclaimed woods, hardware and any place that has Edison bulbs gets an ‘A’ in my book. The bathroom has a toilet AND a urinal, plenty of magazines and air freshener. They definitely thought of everything because the décor was pulled into the bathroom as well and it was designed with the same industrial nod. The place definitely looks cool; great for a date night or dinner with a group of your besties. On to the food: From what our server told us, most items change in the menu daily, based on whatever they purchase that morning. Their menu is served as small plates. They have three categories of courses to choose from as well as desserts. They only serve beer and wine as of right now since opening April of this year. The menu works two ways: you can order a la carte or the pre-fixed option which is $ 45/pp and consists of your choice of one item from each of the three courses and they throw in your choice of one of their dessert, gratis. This is the better option because each diner gets three courses that amount to about $ 15 apiece and then a free dessert. Our server brought us some complimentary pan fried toast with olive oil and roasted garlic. We started off our meals with glass of crisp Puilly Fume and Duck Terrine for me and hubbs went with a bottle of hard cider and Scallop Bruschetta. Both tasted great! My terrine was smooth, sitting atop a dollop of mustard with pickled items and duck fat toast, to boot. Hubby’s bruschetta was served with a raw scallop on top and it was the freshest scallop I’ve ever tasted. Hubbs went for the Pork Belly for his second course and I opted for the Ricotta Dumplings. He thoroughly enjoyed his pork belly and my dumplings were so fluffy, served with thinly sliced fennel, dill and squash… delicious! Dry-Aged Sirloin was my hubby’s third choice and it was cooked to a perfect medium temp, served with Yucca Frites and some phenomenal spicy dip that I think was goat cheese. Errmahgerd! I went with the tender Spanish-Style Octopus, grilled and served with an array of flavorful veggies. We rounded out our meals with my creamy and decadent Chocolate Pot de Crème and hubby’s luxuriously spicy Mediterranean Brownie. Both desserts were wonderful. I am so happy that I found this restaurant. It’s going to be a great addition to Harrison and Westchester! We need more local places like this that think outside the box and are willing to experiment so as to greatly improve the dining experience. My one and only tip would be to try a grab a table further away from the kitchen. My hair smelled like a wonderful pan-fried fish for the entire next day.

Wow came here on Halloween evening and am so happy I did! This place is just what I have been looking for in the area! I am all for farm to table & The food here is so fresh and delicious. the menu is amazing with Such a great variety of apps and entrees! We started with the trio of raw fish, to die for! The beet salad and the pork belly were equally as good. For entrees my husband had the rabbit leg, which was roasted to perfection. I had the red snapper that had this crispy skin, so good! Roasted vegetables came on the side and it literally tasted like fall on a dish. For dessert, we shared the brownie and the quince cobbler. The brownie was the better, but the cobbler was also excellent. I just happen to be a chocolate person so the brownie was right up my alley! On this particular night we weren’t drinking, but I cannot wait to go back they have an extensive wine list. I am beyond excited to have discovered this place. Keep up the good work 273 Kitchen!

We truly enjoyed this evenings four course prix fix dinner. What a wonderful way to try so much of the menu. Some of the more outrageously good appetizer suggestions are the gravlax, duo of tartar fish, pork belly and ricotta dumplings. We all enjoyed our fish dinners, with the fillets all delicious and grilled octopus just delectable. Deserts were quite tasty. My wife had the flourless chocolate cake with chocolate gelato that was to die for. My fall tart was very good … nice and light with apples and a light vanilla custard. Six of shared two bottles of wine, excellently recommended by Chris, the maître d’. At about $ 80 per person(all in with gratuity), the value was excellent. Recommended highly. We’ll be back.

A surprise and a delightful find, thanks to Unilocal reviews! A very short ride after a meeting in Rye. A real Westchester village with a flower shop, street parking and a train station Fabulous and friendly staff, all jumping in for serving, clearing, checking that we were happy! Great interior, part of the kitchen in the dining room. Stone walls good lighting. Busy but not too noisy. Outdoor seating on the street was possible but we choose inside. A diverse menu with right size portions and good, reasonable pricing both leading to the choice for three courses. A prix fix menu added dessert which I rarely have but these are not to be skipped Tartar of fishes, melon salad, oysters & stuffed grilled squash blossoms… Finally grilled octopus and a fish on the bone Each offering with a fine touch and matching sides Only the side veggies could be cooked a bit less but okay and a nice mix Wine list was also a welcome choice and range with reasonable bottle options A gem Enjoy!!!

I went here the night of August 20th, 2015. Simply put, the food was fantastic. Our table all ordered the prix fixe menu and split everything. I order the oysters, charcuterie plate, & steak. All fantastic. My friends ordered the bass and wagyu beef burger for entrees. Again, both amazing. The one complaint was that there was way too much bread for the burger. It could have been a softer bread with perhaps more butter. The price for the prix fixe was very reasonable and it included dessert. Hats off to the chef! I would definitely go back!

As a previous«regular» of 8NB, their sister joint in Nyack, 273 did not let me down. A few highlights… * Smaller space. Make a reservation. * Tasting menu is a great bargain… three courses plus a dessert. They also brought us tastes of dishes we didn’t order in between courses which was a really nice touch. * Nice wine list with many affordable options both glass and bottle. * Very attentive service. * And, the food… THEFOOD. This is why you come here. Fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Complex flavors. I had the lobster chips, octopus, and lamb as my three courses. We also tried the zucchini blossoms(best thing we ate) and corn soup(also delicious). I am hoping that 8NB doesn’t drop off in quality in favor of this new joint but it seems there’s plenty of talent to go around from Chef Constantine. We’ll be back…

TL;DR: It is probably the best restaurant in Westchester. I’ve been here twice in the past two weeks and I’ve had a dozen or so items. Everything tastes great but that’s not why this place is the best, that’s too easy. The thing that sets 273 Kitchen apart from other great restaurants in this area is that I honestly have no idea what the hell is going on with anything that lands in front of me … and it manages to exceed any expectation I may or may not have had. I don’t like oysters. I am presented with an oyster with some kind of watermelon garnish and another one stuffed with bacon and fondue. That’s not even fair. I don’t really care for salad; get a caeser salad with apples and a poached egg. Under normal circumstances, I am more likey to order goddamn Hot Pockets from CVS before I would order a salad like that … absolutely delicious. Stupid, silly potato croquettes? Best I’ve ever had. The Mediterreanen platter that has three dips and four carbs on it — only two of which I recognized — was 100% amazing, too. The list goes on and on. The waygu burger(notice they didn’t lie and say«kobe» like everywhere else) was amazing, the paella had a chicken wing in it, and the pork carpaccio came on the coolest plate ever(see picture). All in all, I am convinced that if I gave them the sneaker off of my foot that they’d somehow send it back to me tasting delicious. If you find a place that gives you a better experience, that means you somehow found the Lost City of Atlantis. Congrats!
