Service good. Really nice guy. Fried cat fish had a light batter, mac & cheese & green beans were really good. Hub and enjoyed the steak salad. Son said burger was ok, but fries were really good.

Loud because it was homecoming week but food was great! Sat us right away, waitress was on top of her game. Orders, refills, checked on is many times. Only negative was the runner who helped with food. Put your breasts away honey, I guess some people tip higher to look at them. Not when I have a 12 year old girl with me wanting to know why they were jumping out of your shirt. She’s not part of my five star rating just an annoying 5 second visit to our table.

Staff is slow and often dazed in appearance, if you can get waited on the foods usually good, the hamburgers are great. The acoustics are something out of a mental hospital cafeteria, really loud if you can stand country or yuppie music, fries and ice tea are good aswell, they offer alot more then what I tried, would try again.

Love this place! Great atmosphere with big screen tvs. There is often a band playing on weekend nights. The prices aren’t too bad for food and beverages. I have been here a handful of times and each dish that I ordered was delicious. I have been served the ribeye 1x and grilled chicken 3x. Others with me have ordered the ribeye sandwich, blackened fish filets, and the hamburger. Everyone was impressed. This is our new«go to place» when family visits southern Illinois. Definitely recommend!

Really good food that is hand made at the restaurant. The wait staff is friendly and accomodating. The food actually has flavor!

Earlier today I had lunch catered from here at the local utility I visited, and had the tenderloin sandwich. That was very tasty. So, I decided to try out dinner here. Is it hard to screw up pork chops? I wonder about that, since I don’t recall eating particularly bad pork chops. Well, the grilled pork chops here were rather delicious, dipped in some kind of apple glaze. I cannot say that the atmosphere at Wooded Hills is particularly interesting, but perhaps it was an off-night here. I’m not a big fan of corrugated tin on ceilings or walls, but many TVs are always a plus.

This is the best food and service I have ever had in Harrisburg. Our waiter was very attentive. The chef made buttered noodle for our picky kids. My catfish was very good and the green beans were amazing. There are many choices on here for vegetarians and even vegan. They have a portobello mushroom sandwich too.

I’ve been 2 times. The first time it was really loud-presumably because of the tin walls/ceilings, and there were stupid drunk hillbillies dancing around and singing karaōke. The food is VERY overpriced. The last time I went there, my wings were DISGUSTING. Dry, crunchy, and tiny, for 7 bucks, plus tax. The waitress was fine, but the manager was great! I called and complained about the wings and the new ones tasted really good. Really good management, just step up your game on prices – especially prices– and encouraging your wait-staff to be more open towards customers. Giving you guys a 4, because of the manager who helped me(Cory).

Atmosphere was great. Food was great, especially the appetizers. Service sucked. The hostess pretty much did everything rather than our waitress and they WERENOT busy. Worst tip I’ve left in awhile.

Decent draught beer selection. Food selection is predominantly sandwiches and burgers, along with a few real entrées. The wife and I had the fried cheese with sriracha sour cream, which was good, followed by pork chops and blackened chicken nachos. The supposedly apple marinaded chops were only about a ¼ inch thick and tasted primarily of Lawry’s seasoning salt, but were tender and cooked to perfection. The nachos were made with ¿flour? chips and covered with a nacho cheese mixture similar to velveta and rotel party dip, sour cream, salad, and a tender and well seasoned blackened chicken breast, which may or may not have been processed meat. Over all, I recommend that you come for the beer and leave for the food unless you’re drunk enough to no longer care.

Two out of the three times I’ve eaten here the food has been excellent. Do not recommend going on a Monday night.
