Was really looking forward to trying this place. Very disappointed. There were 2 of us, ordered a veggie omelet and 2 eggs over easy with biscuits and gravy. We placed our order at 958, we received our food at 1047. The food was good. There were 4 cooks, the restaurant was half full. We aren’t sure why it took so long, but we were about to get up and leave when the server showed up with our food. The reason I noted the times so specifically is because I had some place to be and it took about 5 minutes for the server to show up initially and take our drink orders.

Best place in town for a dry burger. Seriously, it was awful! It had clearly been a reheated leftover from the lunch rush — we were there around 2:00PM. The owner himself took our orders and a waitress brought it out to the table. From the time we placed the order to the food to the table it took maybe 5 mins. The fries were not fresh either but they were better than the burgers. Neither the owner nor waitress came back by to ask how we were doing. 2 soft drinks, 2 burgers and fries cost approx $ 23. Not recommended. Head over to BK, at least they are somewhat predictable.

Excellent breakfast! Stopped in on my way through town and the food, atmosphere, waitstaff, and prices were all exceptional. I will definitely be stopping in again.

Nice, pretty interior. The waitresses were friendly. Food portions were small, I left still hungry. The food was just okay, nothing bad or particularly good.

1 star since the place was beautiful!!! The food was gross! We waited an hour for our food and the place was not busy. A lot of employees were working so there was no shortage of employees. The stuffed French toast is strawberry cream cheese in between 2 prices of bread that tasted nothing like French toast! All food was bad!!! At least it only cost $ 24 to feed 5 people since they took some money off. OWNER: fix the food!!! You have an amazing building!!!

We were surprised they were open on Sunday! I can’t believe we have been back in Harrisburg for 5 months and have not been here! The building itself was extremely cool with exposed brick and extra tall ceiling. Our waitress was amazing, food arrived within 10 min and was delicious! We will be regulars from now on!

Was really looking forward to trying this new place out. It is in my hometown in an old building located on the town square. Old historical pictures of Harrisburg, IL. hanging on the walls. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. But then the food came. My cheeseburger had one pickle slice and exactly 2 rings of a onion rather than a whole slice. The onion rings were just sad. Limp and greasy with most of the breading completely missing. Prices are good but they are really going to have to work on the quality of their food. I was disappointed because I love locally owned Mom and Pop places but I’m afraid I’ll have to choose Hardees over The Burg.

Got seated around noon in a fancy little diner with great atmosphere. It’s uncomfortably cold in here, maybe 60−62°. I ordered around 5 after 12. I received my salad at 12:55 and my sandwich shortly thereafter. Nearly every table was complaining of the wait as most were on lunch breaks. Some abandoned their orders while others took theirs to go. It was a shame as the food was above average, prices were fair, and the ingredients seemed to be fresh, but there were serious problems in the kitchen. Wait staff handled the wait times in an okay fashion. The food: 4⁄5 I’ve only had lunch here once, but was happy with the food The service: 0⁄5 Ambiance/atmosphere: 3⁄5 very cold and uncomfortable Relative to the locale: 5⁄5 probably in the top 10% of restaurants in Harrisburg. Total 12⁄20 3 stars
