I got the big beef burrito. Nothing special and nothing good. First of all, they Made it wrong. It was missing everything that came with the burrito like the onions and peppers. I requested for some corn, that was provided. I didn’t ask for lettuce but that was in there. Asked for cheese but that was missing. Black beans are blah, the rice was blah, the salsa was not fresh. Beef was chewy and over cooked. Mac and cheese was decent, but would I go back just for it. No.

I’m not sure what people are eating, but it can’t be what I got. I ordered the nachos. They were cheap, tasteless round chips, topped with cold shredded cheese, then sole toppings. The cheese was never melted or attempted to be melted. The beans taste like they just came out of the can. Rice out of the box. Chicken was OK, but still bland. My friend ordered one of their burritos and was not impressed at all.

As for taste, The Downtown burrito is excellent. Definitely more spice than you can get from Chipotle, though I wish there was more of the very flavorful sauce. Some other reviews mention how large the burritos are, however, I find them to be a bit small. Neato Burrito is definitely much larger, and Chipotle seems a bit bigger too. Still, I highly recommend giving Soul Burrito a try, and the prices are competitively low. I would eat here much more often if they were open on the weekends or at night.

This is by far the best Burrito place in Harrisburg PA… Burritos with a twist! Love this place, I could live on the Mac-n-Cheese! Some more options for some heat(I LOVE the spicy stuff!) would be nice, but this is a five star place in my mind either way!

The best way to rate this is to compare to other burrito places. This place charges $ 7 and then $ 1.50 if you want to add chips and a drink. This makes this place much cheaper than a chipotle or Moes. As for size it is larger. I have never not finished a burrito until today. As for taste it is unique. It had a great flavor and my mouth is still on fire. So if you like your food with some heat this is a place that is a must for you to try. As for if you don’t like heat I am sure they offer some food that is a little more tame.

Soul Burrito. Was delicious. Got the Jamaican, very tasty. Curry sauce was very nice, will ask for extra next time. Chicken was on point. Loved the staff, esp. the chef. Vibe was great. Loved it. Tried to save some of my burrito for dinner. Failed.

Visited the Broad Street Market stand. Quick services. I grabbed a burrito and a bowl for a friend and I. We had the downtown burrito loaded which as a buffalo style sauce, and it was quite good. I would have liked even more of the spicy sauce. On the bowl, I asked for no sour cream and no cheese, but they ended up in the burrito bowl anyway. The set up of the stand being so tall makes it impossible to watch the assembly to remind the person working the counter of special orders. Also even though I got the two items, I was told the loyalty card(that is buy 9, get the 10th free) was per visit and not per item. That seemed odd to me.

Overview: New burrito place near Strawberry Square serving burritos, bowls, salads, and homemade mac and cheese. Food: I ordered a chicken bowl with rice, beans, corn, peppers and onions, chicken, salsa, and lettuce. I really liked the flavor of the chicken. It was really good without being overly spiced and was not overcooked. I wish I could have gotten some more salsa or perhaps one of their sauces, because it was slightly dry without it, but still quite tasty. My boyfriend ordered The Downtown, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He was particularly happy with the tortilla, which is a bit thicker than ones from say Chipotle or Neato Burrito and was able to really stand up to the fillings. He also really enjoyed the sauce, which had a nice kick to it. The only downsides to me were: lack of brown rice, lack of guacamole, and the fact that they don’t explain their sauces or list them anywhere convenient for if you’re just building your own burrito/bowl. I would probably have asked for one of the sauces, but I have no idea what’s in the«Treehugger Sauce» or any of the others, so a list and description would be extremely helpful. Recommend: The Downtown Burrito Atmosphere: The shop itself is a little small, however they have an outdoor courtyard with additional seating, so on nice days you can go there. The interior is nice, with their logo’s colors around. The floor was oddly very sticky though when I went, which is a little strange. Service: Great service! We were served promptly and everyone was extremely friendly, despite it being during the busy lunch rush.

Got a Jamaican chicken burrito. Average burrito with way too much curry in it, not that good of a curry sauce, not even close, was like a watery cream sauce with a way too much curry in it. Rice and beans were rice and beans. Chicken was okay, not bad(all other burrito joints in the area have better chicken) corn was old and mushy, salsa was meh, lettuce was gross pre shredded bagged iceberg(slimy watery). Average or just below average burrito. Soul burrito gets a 4.5÷10 not terrible but would not recommend to a friend.
