Sinful Sweets

Sinful Sweets is a vendor in the Broad Street Market. I’m obsessed with this bakery! Everything is baked fresh, including their amazing bagels! My favorite cookies include, toffee, ultimate oatmeal, chocolate peanut butter and and the macaroons. I’ve also tried their apple dumplings, which are pretty tasty. Another great selling point, it’s so inexpensive. If you love sweet treats, this is the place for you!

Hands down– they have the BEST cookies in the area. We are hooked on the cookies, but their other items are just as good!

Sinful Sweets is only part of the story of this vendor inside the brick building at the historic Broad Street Market…
If you learn nothing else about me, know these things: I have such an unbelievable sweet tooth. I heart carbs. If something smells appeaing to me, I will do anything in my power to make it mine.
I stumbled onto this vendor last summer and aside from a few extra pounds attached to my hips, I’ve never regretted it. Located conveniently near the courtyard entrance, the aroma of freshly-​baked treats acts like an elaborate aphrodisiac. The toffee cookies are a sensory masterpiece from the rich scent of butter and sugar to the fall-​apart sensation on the tongue.
With the resurgence of interest in bakeries, especially cupcake bakeries, Sinful Sweets manages to hold its own. The cupcakes are ample and innovative. The cake’s texture and flavor is neither overwhelmed nor obscured by icing. The combinations of such range from the traditional (red velvet with cream cheese, chocolate with chocolate, etc.) to the legendary (Earl Grey tea with lemon buttercream).
In addition to sweets, I have also discovered a fondness for their homemade bagels. In addition to standards like poppyseed and onion, they also have varieties such as asiago parmesan and pesto.
This is definitely a vendor to visit in the market.
