Quizno’s Sub

For years I have avoided Quizno’s like it was MRSA… Yes MRSA (if you don’t know — wikipedia baby!). Their commercials with these weird looking sandwiches just grossed me out. But today I really felt like I should see what all the hype was about.
So I went to Quizno’s for lunch. The menu was initially scary. Nothing looked the slightest bit appetizing and it seemed everything had bacon in it. Not just as something you could order it without, but bacon EVERYWHERE. I’m talking BACON ALFREDO. So I found one edible thing — the Tuscan Turkey.
The sandwich was pretty good — and a small size is definitely enough. I would have liked if they would have been a little bit lighter with the sauce.
The sandwich itself earned Quizno’s 4 stores, but the fact that there is nothing else on the menu I would even try has to take 1 star off. And I can think of a lot better meals I could have gotten for nearly 7 $ at lunch.
