I stayed in room 321 and the room reeked of smoke and was smelled musky. The hallway even smelled musky. They need to open the windows. I sprayed Lysol and opened the windows and it was no help. When I did open the window there was huge spider web outside my window and no screen for me to leave the window open. The towels and everything smelled. Then I took my bracelet off on Saturday morning to take a shower and I put it in my suitcase and when I got home on Sunday it was missing. I called them asking them if it was found. I told them I left it by the TV because that’s where my suitcase was and they said call back tomorrow when housekeeping is there or they will call me back. They didn’t call me back so I called them and told them I know it was in my suitcase and its missing. I told them I was hoping it might of fell out of the suitcase(which isnt possible but I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt) and if it didn’t fall out then it was stolen and they just said oh we don’t see it. It was a Kay Jewelers bracelet with charms on it, kind of like the pandora ones. Then the toilet was broken. It wouldnt fill up, my husband was able to do something to make it flush. I asked for another room on Saturday night because of the smell but they told me it was all booked.

Update 8⁄3: Received a new cable from NewEgg in the mail and I can only assume it was sent by Quality Inn but I have not confirmed this. It is not OEM, and did not include the wall plug, both of which were characteristics of the charger I hoped to receive back. The thought was nice but the execution not perfect.

Very upset with this particular hotel. Stopped in last night and asked if there were any rooms available, the clerk said yes and as I was checking in, he informed me that he couldn’t check us in because the room was booked online at the same time! Total crap! IF that was even true, we were already ahead of whoever it was checking in online. He said he couldn’t help us. We will NEVER, I repeat EVER attempt to stay at ANY Quality Inn again. We drove down the road 3 miles and stayed at the Days Inn for a better rate. I hope he didn’t deny us a room based on our skin color, but I suspect that was the case.

Oh boy, where to start… we came to Harrisburg from Philly for the Bruce concert at Hershey park stadium. We were greeted by the manager who was extremely unpleasant and offered zero help while we tried to coordinate transportation to/from the show. He was sarcastic and rude… not sure how you can manage a hotel with those qualities?! On our way up to the room, we noticed a musty smell in the hallway. Once inside the room, we couldn’t run the AC because when we tried to turn it on there was an overwhelming and absolutely disgusting fish smell. It was so bad that we immediately shut it off, popped open the window and I sprayed my perfume all over the room. The fitted sheet kept coming off the corner of the bed, the toilet seat was wobbly(which basically led to you sitting on the inner rim). The list goes on… when we checked out the next morning there was a different gentleman who was just as rude. We couldn’t wait to leave. The only positive was the price. I guess you really do get what you pay for. Hopefully Mark, the manager, improves his attitude so future guests may enjoy their experience at check in because there’s nothing to look forward to upstairs!

First floor smells like a smoking floor. There were no signs that said otherwise. But all told, decent hotel, with good and clean quality beddings and basic toilet amenities. Only obvious drawback: no elevator for second floor rooms. Good and working A/C although it was older and tended to make noise when it kicked in. Free Wi-fi advertised bu I had trouble with connecting. Could have also been my service. Our tour bus was one of two others and I was grateful that they served a continental breakfast for us: coffee, donuts, sliced cakes, small fruit(apples, oranges, bananas). Lots of parking.

I never thought I would voluntarily find myself in this area of Pennsylvania, but alas it’s where one of my best friends was getting married and so here I was a week before the wedding in true procrastination style, scrambling for a hotel room. When the Comfort Suites down 81, and where everyone else from the wedding was staying, told me that their rooms for the night started at $ 199 +tax I opted to go elsewhere. This is Harrisburg people, I paid less than that for one of my nights at a 4 star resort in Puerto Rico this upcoming fall. Being in the pickle that I was in, I hopped on and allowed them to choose the hotel for me because it promised to be $ 99 +tax, I could tolerate that. The hotel is part of «Choice Hotels», less than luxurious to say the least, but good for what you need it to be when it’s a place that you will likely fall into a deep drunken sleep and wake up wickedly hungover the next day. In that respect, this place was great. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable enough, though the AC could have been a little better at de-humidifying our overly muggy room… humidity is no bueno for my hair. Continental breakfast was a perk though we didn’t make it out of bed in time to take part in it, but what really gave this place the extra love from me was the front-desk staff. These ladies were the nicest I think I’ve ever encountered anywhere. They hooked us up with pretty much the only cab driver in all of Harrisburg, gave us all the information we could possibly need for the area even though we were only staying the night, and gave excellent directions for getting to the wedding location. On the way through the lobby after check-out one of the employees said«thanks for visiting us, we’ll be here the next time you’re in town»…now if that doesn’t sound straight out of a commercial I don’t know what does. I can say that unless she looked in the mirror and practiced for hours, she actually sounded sincere and for that, I would stay again if I found myself back in that neck of the woods.
