What can I say about pondergrossa? I ate there few times or more and it’s was an okay experience, until I got food poisoning, but the restraunt is nothing special or to get excited about.

Not bad, and as Harrisburg, IL is very limited for dining it’s one of those that will have to do. I always have a slight panic attack with buffet style dining. This was definitely far from being clean. I did order a steak, a very thin ribeye cooked to a solid grey color (medium). I would only go back in the event of having to be in Harrisburg again.

This is one of the few Ponderosa Steakhouses left and when you go there, if you leave hungry, it is your own fault. The variety is the best. I have only positive things to say about this restaurant. YUMMY!!! Good food and great service!

The bathrooms are not comfortable, no air condition. Unbelievably my baked potato was wretched, the steak was grissled making it a surgical cutting experience. 2 yr olds have to pay for drinks. 2 meals here are 28 bucks excluding tip. The cold bar was gross the eggs are off white the lettuce was warm and slimy, the wings were dry and hard (all three styles)…what cow has almost yellow tinted meat. We will never be back where’s the zero star button. Golden coral is cheaper and better by far! I’m nausious so laterrrr! Don’t believe the hype about the restaurant being better than before… it simply not true at all!

You ready to eat? you better be. Order your favorite steak and then pig out with the buffet of hometown cooking like fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, and a salad bar. Then you got the desserts and those are good to with the cookies and iceream. I love to go here to fill my stomach and have decent food. I like coming here mostly because theres never a crowd.
