Much better than anticipated. Service and food were great. Will be back!

I was staying across the street at the Courtyard and decided to drop in vs. drive around in the rain looking for another spot for dinner. The reviews are accurate, this place is a bit old in terms of décor and clientele, BUT, Ben was a fantastic bartender and server, the food was good — no complaints. They have a very good diverse menu. If they can update the décor just a bit and I would suggest having a host/hostess to greet and THANK customers that would help them out tremendously. It was odd not having anyone at the front door to great or thank you. All in all a really good experience if you can just look past some of the aging décor. I would go back and enjoy a nice meal.

Created a shrimp and scallop Alfredo meal for me since I couldn’t decide. Was amazing. One of the best Alfredos I’ve ever had.

I was in Leeds last night for dinner. Ordered prime rib and got, what looked like NY strip steak. Just curious if anyone else had this experience. Food was good and service was good –decorated beautifully for Christmas.

Excellent! A buddy and I went to Leeds on a Wednesday night. The parking lot was full of cars, which is always a good sign. Brad was our waiter and he attentive and helpful. He recommended a Cabernet for me and the Black and Blue Filet. An 8 oz cut with melted blue cheese. Fantastic! The bruschetta was fresh and flavorful. The salads were good, and our steaks were perfectly prepared. I would eat at Leeds again!

I ordered in from the hotel across the street and wasn’t sure what to expect but it was pleasantly delicious. They were great on the phone and delivered in about 25 – 30 minutes as promised. The caeser salad was delicious but the crab cake broiled was by far the yummiest part of the meal. For the main I ordered the filet medium and it was cooked perfectly, could have used a little salt and pepper but the mushrooms on top made up for a little flavor. The boiled potatoes had no flavor and the spinach was steamed with nothing added. I would say overall it’s pretty good however a little pricey.

Nothing redeemable about this place. The food was not tasty, staff didn’t seem competent, and worst of all, it was seemingly overpriced for lack luster food. I ordered the fra diavolo sauce with some linguini and asked for a lobster with it since the waitress insisted they were known for their seafood. I was served 2 tablespoons of pasta with a lobster tail on the side that was so over cooked, I literally bounced it on the table like a ball. The only redeeming aspect of this entire evening was the dinner being taken off my bill. Even the bread that was served came out doughy, which normally I enjoy but this was doughy because it was still undercooked and had that yeast smell to it still.

Good dinner with great company A few of us went to Leeds for a company dinner and we did receive good service and I did like the eclectic acoustic music that was played. We had great drinks. The rolls were hot from the oven. I had the Tuna cocktail martini. the lime vinaigrette was awesome finish to the seared tuna and avocado. I also had the spinach salad with the warm bacon dressing. One of my colleagues had the scallops and had to be sent back for being overcooked, he ordered the four seasons which he said was absolutely great. All in all the food and service was great for the Harrisburg area around our hotel.

A best kept secret! Lovely surroundings, excellent food and drinks, attentive and friendly staff — all the things that a restaurant should be. The restaurant itself is a large and roomy environment. Four-top tables are large and never feel cluttered. I’ve had a variety of seafood dishes on several visits and all were beautifully prepared and presented. Why this restaurant is not packed every night is beyond me!

we ate at Leeds on the evening of 1÷28÷14. on a scale of 1 to 10 we give it a 5. the service was good. The food not so much. The sea scallops had sand and some of the pesky abductor muscles were not removed. The ice cream served with the apple crisp was grainy.

This place is beautiful inside! Very high scaled restaurant for sure. The food was alright. I didn’t like the lamb, and the Chicken Dijon taste didn’t stand out. Although, I loved the tuna with — I believe — was avocado in a martini glass, that was just outstanding, along with the Brushetta and Clams. The service, too, was excellent! The only negative things I can come up with is the walking areas. Inside the dining area(because there is a bar as well) you have to walk through the chairs of people, there’s no pathway. Luckily we were against a wall and didn’t have the traffic of people walking through us because that would be absolutely disturbing. The bathroom had 3 stalls. Also, the menu wasn’t big enough for me. It had the option of chicken, seafood, or soups/salads, but the variety just wasn’t satisfying. It was just difficult to choose. Oh, and it’s an expensive place. Make sure you have money before you take your date here.

Nice ambiance, descend wine list, very good service at the bar and in the booths. Banquet quality food when I was there. Entre was ok, sides were pretty poor.

Stopped into this place when I was on government travel. Sat at the bar for dinner, and was happily rewarded by the nice bar tender lady immediately asking what I wanted. I ordered a scotch and asked to see the dinner menu, ordered the steak dinner with lobster tail. Was pleased with the food, and the drink. Nice place, kind and attentive staff and decent food. Would definitely go back.

One of the best options in this culinarily-depraved area for traveling business people. Nice old-school dark-wood bar atmosphere, attentive and friendly bartenders and staff. Good stiff drinks and draft beer selection. My crab bisque was tasty, but lacked any noticeable crab meat(fail). My broiled scallops were excellent. The accompanying salad was fresh and crisp, the baked potato was done to perfection, but the bagged frozen vegetable medley was a major fail. You should serve fresh veggies if you’re going to charge $ 26/entrée, especially in Harrisburg. Would I go back? Sure. Much better option than Friday’s, Chili’s or Ruby Tuesday chain-hell.

Their Penne Rustiche is SO incredibly good! I was staying at the Courtyard Marriot, which is right across the street, and I ordered this dish. As a vegetarian, I am always on the lookout for good food. It was SOGOOD! The order was ready quickly and the wait staff were incredibly nice! That pasta was so good that even when I had to go to another part of Pennsylvania, I rerouted my trip so I could come back and get the pasta again! Love, love, love this place!

just ok. WAY overpriced. French onion soup was the worst I ever had. Not much flavor, little cheese(none oozed over the bowl and had about a tablespoon of cheese in it) and looked to be wheat bread instead of real french bread or croutons. It was just plain bad. The person in my party who got a steak was pleased but hard to screw up a steak. The person who got a crabcake said it was just ok and my spaghetti with clams was salty and just ok. The waiter was very good but overall It was just ok and would not go back. Prices are too high and you do not get a lot of food for the money.

In town for business, my co-workers and I stopped by Leed’s. One person out of our group of three had been there a couple of times in the past and spoke highly of the place. We split two orders of crabcakes(one broiled and one deep fried) and the calamari. Cakes came two to an order, about the size of a hockey puck, with plentiful shredded crab(but no lumps). Both preparations were tasty, but the broiled was slightly better. Served with lemon wedge and tartar sauce. I only used lemon, but the two guys liberally applied tartar(it was sad to see). The calamari was a huge app, and also pretty tasty, served with warm marinara. Something in this dish had a nice spicy kick to it. I ordered the prime rib and scallop special. Prime rib, ordered medium rare, was only slightly pink and a bit tough. Bonus points for having horseradish(not just horsey sauce), and flavorful au jus. Four large scallops, pan seared — tasted fresh and sweet. Dinner came with a salad, very good mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley(blech). $ 33. My co-workers had the filet and fried shrimp combo and the salmon dish with spinach and a creamy gorgonzola sauce. I didn’t try any of their food(they aren’t my husband, so I can’t just shove my fork in to their food), but the shrimp ‘breading’ was nice and light, and looked well seasoned.
