This is not a sit down spot — it’s drive thru, except in summer there is a small meshed tent area you COULD sit. However this BBQ is best to take and go! They sell individual sandwiches and BBQ by ½ and full pound. He also sells his sauce at the local Kroger grocery store!
I know, you’re scratching your head right now. 5 stars?!? Yes. 5 stars. The BBQ is that good. The pork is tender, juicy, well flavored with the right amount of smoke, and is just plain awesome. You always get your food with a smile too. Who needs a restaurant with tables and chairs? I can eat at home… or if it doesn’t make it that far, in my car.
Do yourself a favor. Bring a cooler and buy an extra pound or two of BBQ pork. You can always freeze leftovers! And don’t forget to get a couple bottles of sauce too! Sweet and spicy is my favorite — ohh so good.
