What a pain to shop here! Need a quarter just to get a cart. Who carry’s cash and coins on them now a days? They have almost no organic food, hardly any name brand stuff. The name brand stuff is the same price at walmart(or even cheaper at walmart). They don’t accept credit cards, and they don’t have bags to bag any of your stuff. They don’t even warn you they have no bags you just get your cart back and have to put it in your car one by one. I understand the idea behind this store is to give you the best prices possible by cutting out all the customer service crap. But at least offer it to customers for a fee. Let me use my credit card, but charge me a small fee. Bag my groceries, but charge me a fee. Let me get a damn cart even if I have no change on me. I just don’t see the point. The prices are not that great and they didn’t even have 25% of what I needed. I am going to have to go to Harris teeter anyway. I’d rather spend a bit more and get all my groceries in one spot and not have worry about not having a quarter, not having bags or only having credit it cards.

First of all, don’t be afraid to try Aldi’s! I almost don’t want to give our local secret away… But, this is where we do about 80% of our grocery shopping. From staples to dairy to frozen items such as shrimp. If you are gluten-free, they have a few gluten-free options in each section at a fraction of competitors prices! Produce is good, but double check it all. Meats– eeeeeeh ok… but use quickly. Cut down your grocery bill by visiting here for sure!

Love visiting here! It is definitely worth the drive from University City area to get some items at a cheaper cost. Very fresh produce and it’s always clean and well stocked. I ALWAYS buy my veggies and fruits from here– very high quality for the low price. Parking lot is easy to maneuver too which I love. The only thing that keeps me from giving this location 5 stars is that during the weekday afternoons there is only 1 register open which is a pain.

You would not think that there is usually much to distinguish one Aldi from another, but just as there is variance in a McDonald’s location from one to the next, you can see the differences if you look closely enough. The main difference with Aldi however appears to be when the location was built. The older locations(often found in less appealing parts of town) are often more run-down, something you would expect with age. This particular outlet is on the newer side, and so it is shiny and new. Plenty of glass and the aisles seem wider. In fact, there is even an extra aisle if I am not mistaken. As to the merchandise, it all seems to be about the same, but that extra aisle has to have something in it right? Perhaps the aisles themselves are just shorter, and that makes up the difference, but when walking through it seems about the same length, so I am really not sure of the difference — while each store generally has about the same product, this one does too. It is tough to spot a single item or two unless you are really on the lookout. Overall, it is a nice location. Probably not worth a drive just to visit, but if you are in the area, it is certainly worth a stop.
