Quarry Hill Farm

The lamb we bought for Easter was the best I’ve ever tasted, and I usually don’t like lamb. The farm is beautiful and everything is clean and like new. The animals are free range and happy.

I highly recommend Quarry Hill Farm! The food is of the best quality, local, organic, grass fed, and delicious!!! The staff are extremely knowledgable, ready and willing to help in any and every way. Anything they can do to promote healthy living, they will do!
Another reviewer mentioned the toxic quarry water being used for the animals. This is simply not true. When I asked the owner about this, she was able to show me the. Quarry water flow, and that water DOES NOT FLOW to QuarryHill Farm. She also testes the water regularly to ensure the water is clean for her animals and offered to show me test results. The owner was very knowledgable concerning the EPA and the efforts to clean up the quarry, however it does not affect her farm.
As far as prices, I have found them competitive with places like Wegmans Organic section. However, their CSA program does help save money. Again the meat is well worth the money!

I regularly «pay up» for sustainable meats and produce; however, relative to other sustainable or organic farms, this farm’s prices were aggressive. Furthermore, prices are not clearly marked, if at all.
I won’t tout any other farm at this one’s expense, but the prices will keep me away for the foreseeable future.
