Scissor Sister’s Hair Show Salon

Could not ask for better results! I have had my hair dyed several times and I love that I’m not washing the product down the drain 2 days later. Their dye lasts and lasts! Now I have these beautiful highlights to liven up my looks. Works so well with my army life and no complaints! Beau, thank you for the highlights, simply stunning! Heather, my mom is loving her hair, it was a perfect cut. I really can’t recommend anyone better, they work with my hectic schedule and use some outstanding products and tell their clients what to get to maintain their look or hold their color longer. If you want your money to be put to good use, go here! Contrary to others ideas, they are some of the best and I’ve been to a real NY Head hunter, would still go here any day. I’ve been to Regis and Master Cuts and I washed their dye out in a few washes and it was permanent dye, what a waste of time and money. Love this salon and I will come back here as long as I can, even if I gotta fly from my next duty station down, I will! SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! Worst hair place I have ever been to. If I could, this place would receive ZERO stars. Let me just start by saying when you go to a salon and they make you sign a waiver stating there will be NO refunds what so ever, you know something isn’t right. I was so excited to get my hair done after years of growing it out and it finally being super healthy. To get it completely FRIED in just a few hours. Asked for a simple blonde balayage/​ombré and received a huge fried disaster for $ 200! I uploaded 3 photos (looks like cheetah print on the back of my head) to show whomever reads this review to please PLEASE save your money and book your hair appointment with a different salon. I tried to get it fixed at a different salon and there was nothing they could do besides give me a treatment since it was so unbelievably fried! Once again, HORRIBLE place, zero professionalism, will NEVER go back, and I encourage you to go some place else.
To your response Heather, you are the «owner» of course you are going to defend your own business, correct? Well I was (& never will be again) a customer. Yes, I did go back to see if anyone can correct the horrible job she did. It was devastating that a hair stylist would even let a person walk out of the salon looking the way that she left me. But the corrections that she attempted to make came out just as bad. At that point my hair was completely ruined there was nothing she, you, or anyone else in your staff could do. (Mind you, I could not get a refund so what else am I to do besides leave) Believe me I wish I would have never even gone that day! I would still have my long healthy hair. And as for what you stated about «my previous hair color» I did speak with my stylist beforehand & thoroughly explained to her the previous colors I’ve had (which were not extreme in any way) & she was fully aware! You have every right to your opinion as do I. My pictures speak for themselves I am beyond sure! Unfortunately certain people in your staff are unprofessional & don’t have the skill they are portraying. Being the «owner» it should have been your responsibility to help her fix it (which you did not) you just walked right passed & looked. Like I’ve stated before, the experience that I had in your salon was extremely unprofessional & extremely disappointing.

Just went in for my first cut and eyebrow wax there. I called ahead and got an appointment with Tammy for that same hour. She was really friendly and did her best to fix my mess hair from a prior bad experience elsewhere. She did really great and I’m much happier with my mop now. (I have wavy/​curly hair with fried ends from coloring too much). She did really great at preserving my length while still getting the dead ends.
The eyebrow wax was fun! She did great and didn’t take too much off. Just when I got home I noticed a few strays. Totally not her fault because she asked me to check and I must’ve missed them. I was her first wax at Scissor Sisters and was really apologetic about not knowing where everything was. Will be back to see Tammy (:

I absolutely love this salon. I’ve lived in the area for a couple years and tried numerous salons and had horrible experiences. I’m so glad I finally discovered this salon. Every single stylist there is amazing but I go to Cassondra. DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE!

I’m new to writing reviews so bare with me. I got my hair cut today with Beau and I am so happy that I chose this place. The atmosphere was great. I was comfortable and he took the time to ask me questions about my hair and he listened to my responses. I am beyond thrilled that I found my new stylist on my 1^st try at a new place. (We just moved here 2wks ago) I would definitely recommend Scissor Sisters and Beau!

I tried the salon based on the Unilocal reviews that I saw when I went in there I was a little surprised that it was so dark and smoke was everywhere from a smoke machine it was hard to tell what the final color was I had to go outside. I listened as Heather talked bad to her work mates and complaned about customers to customers that complained so I didn’t feel comfortable to say anything to her so I am leaving a negative Unilocal review. She wss very gravious to me being 30 mins late i left a big tip dor that. I will report to Unilocal if any negativity comes back on me for my review. I even heard her mention having various accounts where she reads and comments on customers that complain and other salons. I was a first time client and I know a few other girls in the salon at the time were and if you can’t read off body language shocked. I can tell you that we all felt uncomfortable it didn’t seem professional at all and I’ve been to Seattle, California, New York salons And small towns. I expected more professionalism then that. I don’t have a problem paying a high price for great hair I thought her prices were in par to other prices for the same service but I was not happy with the service or lack of color I got. I didn’t like the idea of bashing client that gave bad reviews I felt it was very intimidating. I felt Heather did not do a good job with my hair I felt she was lacking confidence with color I’ve had my hair bleached and colored for years. She flat out told me that it would kill my hair and not do it. All my hair but my roots ARE bleached so this held no argument to my roots. I’ve always had blonde hair that’s never been an issue my roots are completely dark she used two or three different towners at the end my color after an hpur of foil went from oramfe to grey to 4 days later basically no color. After 4 days the color was completely gone and she told me I had 3 days come back in. 10 days later I have a new hairdresser and that is my review for Heather and Scissor Sisters.
If you read my other reviews you will see I am always honest she did my daughters hair later and did a good job I think her prices are fair I just feel she is lacking in color Knowledge.

I have only been to this salon once and had my hair colored and cut by Beau. To me he seemed very inexperienced and nervous. I showed him pics of the BLONDE that I wanted to be. Instead, he made me a darkkkkk brunette with very few hilites. Then I showed him a pic of a hairstyle that I wanted and left looking nothinggggg like the pic. He chopped my layers up and no mtter how I blow my hair out now or curl or iton it, I have this huge hack of a layer on the sides of my face that look ridiculous! He did offer for me to go back and get my color fixed for free, but honestly, I will never go back there again. I had some kind of reaction to whatever dye he used and my scalp and face have been itching and burning for two days. The music in there is SO loud u cant even hear ur stylist talking to u. Not an upscale salon for sure. Oh and I was charged over $ 200 for nothing even close to what I wanted. Very, very disappointed. Never, ever again.

I’ve been going to Beau for a few years now. Beau is amazing and passionate about his work! Always striving to grow and advance his skills. He’s on top of the latest styles and hair trends. Beau never lets me down and I’m always getting compliments on my hair! His new salon is fun and all the stylists are friendly and professional. I go to Alicia for waxing, impressed with the work and the waxing product line she uses. I’ve tried many other high end salons in the area before finding Beau and was absolutely unimpressed. So glad I’ve found a salon that is all around amazing and I don’t have to waste my money anymore weeding out overrated and overpriced salons!

I am very impressed with a number of things about this salon. First of all when you walk in it is like you are about to get down on a dance floor, except you have to sit and get your hair done, although they probably wouldn’t mind if you did a few dance jigs ;) Anyways That being said the staff there is really nice and comical. They all do great work as I pay attention to the peoples hair they do when I am getting my own done. I have been seeing Heather to do my hair. She has been so great and patient with me. I got my hair trimmed with her and chemically straightened. She does exactly what you ask for no more no less when trimming. When I got my hair straightened she went very easy the first time to make sure my hair could handle it due to highlights. She told me to let her know how it goes and to come back if I wanted touch ups. Well the next 48hrs I contacted her and took her up on the offer. Just got back from the salon a few hours ago today and highly impressed! Not only did she do a fantastic job straightening my hair she also trimmed and styled it free of charge. I tried offering her a tip and she just asked that I write her a review on Unilocal so here I am. Gotta try this place you will not regret it… OH and the prices are very very reasonable!!! Never going anywhere else in killeen/​forthood area again :-) TY Scissor sisters!!!

My stylist was Kayla. Had a fantastic experience and absolutely love my color she did! The atmosphere was great. Everyone was friendly and gave great conversation. Definitely recommend and I will definitely go back!

I was a client of the owner before she opened the salon and everything that I loved about her, that made her the only person I ever want working on my hair, Scissor Sisters now embodies.
It has an extremely friendly atmosphere and the staff that works there are all unique, knowledgable, and most importantly, they make it obvious that they love what they do. They take the time to get to know you, what you would like done, and offer suggestions to take your idea to the next level.
