One of the best Tempeh Reubens I have ever had! Must try if you’re in that neck of the woods.

This place is surprisingly good! When I walked upstairs I took a look at the teenage girls working at the café and expected nothing special — I guess I just assumed that teenage girls can’t cook good vegetarian food… shame on me. They somehow cooked up an amazing breakfast burrito! Warm and gooey in the middle… very fresh. Wow…I will definitely come back… yummy!

I love it here. We have food sensitivities up the wazoo, so this place is a blessing for my daughter and I. The food is wholesome and tasty, and the choices are so ample(meat, vegetarian, vegan. I was even able to get a totally sugar free meal. That is hard to do). I can’t imagine anyone«pleaseable» to be displeased with this place. The people are so kind and special. A few of them have reminded me of a mom making food for their child with the amount of questions and attention they bestow on their friends or community members about their meal. Other folks will just make you feel really taken care. I don’t know what determines the«good for kids» yes or no. Whoever put that in must have missed the consistent stream of children frequenting the place. My daughter is two and it is of her favorite places to go. Maybe the lack of kids meals, or it is not an ihop or denny’s? I think the place is perfect for kids. Yes, this place will always have a special place in my heart.

A very Vermont Café located directly above the Buffalo Mountain Co-op. We smelled fresh scones baking from the Co-op and that stimulated our stomachs to head upstairs and check out the café. The café is quirky and small, decorated with old mismatched chairs, local artwork and odd and end dishes. The menu is simple, soups, quiche, sandwiches, muffins, scones. Everything is made from local and /or organic ingredients, They do have vegan and many vegetarian friendly options. Our two self served coffees and 2 scones came to a little over $ 6.
