Cute little store with kitchenwares and dried spices. A decent selection of bargains in the back room.

I love this little shop. The gifts and linens are lovely. The selection last year(2013 summer) was better but they still had much to look at. Lots of beautiful and thoughtful kitchen gear and gadgets reasonably priced. The sale was on and we got some good deals. Wine gifts and housewares, beach décor and pottery. I hear people love their spice selection and while i normally enjoy spices I haven’t really taken the time to look at them. They also have coffee, tea and some mixes. If you happen to be in Harbor Springs stop in. I think it’s worth a visit and make sure you go through to the back of the shop to see all the goodies.

Terrific shop in the middle of Harbor that has every dry seasoning you could ask for while cooking. Making sweet potato pancakes, I needed smoked paprika. No one had it for 30 miles — not Glenn’s or Oleson’s or the IGA, not Toski Sands, not Pond Hill. My mother had discovered this little store that sells all the unusual spices you’re looking for. They don’t carry mahleb, a ground cherry seed I needed for breakfast bread(ironic since we’re in the middle of cherry country), but they do have most spices you’ll find in the recipes from Food & Wine or the Times food section.
